You two remind me so much of my husband and I! We're childhood sweethearts, got married at 19, and will be celebrating our 8 years this year! Unfortunately, we've suffered with infertility our entire marriage, with over 10 miscarriages. However, I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant and so excited to be pregnant along with you!

I'm only a mom of one, she's 4 months now and I'm feeling like I cannot get to anything. I just feel tired. I've been watching a lot of older videos over the past few days because they help me reflect and calm down. But how weird is it to see William so big! Helping with cookies, he's so sweet. ❤️
I felt the same way when my darling was between birth and 6m, but by the Lord's help it's gotten so much better, and it WILL get better for you 🤍 you're exactly who your baby needs
For me, the turning point was about 5-6 months. That's when he was able to entertain/play with himself a little more. He was also more okay with me setting him down more. But!! You will miss these days, so just enjoy them while you're in them! Chores will always be there, but a little 4 mo won't be 🥹🥹
It is totally normal to be tried during post partum! I think 4-6 months wad the worst for me. However if you feel like you can't get anything done besides caring for baby. Maybe talk to your Dr. I found out I had an autoimmune disease at 4m post partum.
You can do it🎉I’m a mom of two and completely understand how you feel, been there so many times but think on this YOU are your baby’s whole world :) , equipped in every way and capable for this job, and never feel you are the only one there’s lots of moms that feel like that even when there’s just so much tiredness, back pain, frustration….love ❤️ and perseverance should always prevail, our kids are our most precious treasure. Go !!! Mamma ! 💗
The transition from 0-1 is much harder. You are in the thick of it and you're at the HARDEST month, I promise it gets so much better!

Okay I love this! I'm 14 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. We made the move from Sask to Ontario last year so it's pretty cool to see the difference in lifestyle pace.
Minus 40 degrees! Oh my I can't even imagine. I come from Aus so it hardly ever gets below 0, and since having my baby I've been living in Singapore where it never goes below about 24 😅 Certainly makes it abit easier never having to worry about multiple layers, jackets etc

I’m expecting baby #5! We are in the market for a 9-12 passenger van now. All my babies are close in age, so 5 car seats won’t fit in our mini van. Plus we still hope for more babies after this one, we don’t put a number on how many.

I have watched you since the beginning and I love the dynamic you and your husband share and they way you raise your kids. I have learned a few things myself from watching your videos and I just want to say that you guys are an amazing family.

I also had varicose veins, but all up and down one leg. They showed up in my 4th pregnancy and stayed for #5 and #6. My mom had/has them also. Just genetics. Unfortunately they swell up and hurt every period too. Compression tights help keep the blood from pooling in your legs. Your dr can write a prescription for them because they are expensive.

I just found this company called Beyond Nine that does the cutest pants and you can wear them during pregnancy!! They’re called the Mabel Linen Trouser. They’re a loose style like that and super stretchy. I think it would be the perfect pant that you’re describing!
Omg!! I had varicose veins on my labia (so embarrassing and so uncomfortable) with my son. I’m nervous they’ll be worse with my next pregnancy. I feel like people do not understand the discomfort this causes unless they’ve been there. So good to know I’m not alone
Me too! Way worse with my second unfortunately. But my midwife told me about these compression shorts that basically took all the pain away! SRC Health compression shorts! pricey but so worth it. I couldn't stand for more than a few minutes without terrible pain and feeling like someone kicked me in the groin lol
Yes! So did I! I've had 3 full term pregnancies and they've gotten worse each time. We want a 4th but I'm nervous I will be in a lot of discomfort for most of the pregnancy. I was also getting that heavy uncomfortable aching pain whenever I had my period too. I had an ultrasound done and was diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome (basically varicose veins in the pelvis area that can hurt especially during your period, standing for a long time and especially pregnancy). I'm thinking of maybe having a surgery to have the veins fixed before getting pregnant again. I'm not sure yet. It's nice to hear of others going through the same thing 😊
@@aimeecroft2117 I didn't know there was a name for it! I get that pain and heaviness during periods too. I am going to a vein clinic this month to have them looked at and hopefully treated so if we have a third it will hopefully not be so painful. I always felt like I was black and blue with bruises during my last pregnancy! And oh my goodness I was so swollen. Even my midwives and pelvic floor PT were like 😳 dang girl 😅
I'm also 15 weeks (first baby). I love that we are in sync! It's so interesting to see from the perspective of someone who has already had their first child. It's definitely encouraging! Energy is still not back but I know everyone's body is different.

Varicose veins can be treated. It’s an indication for pelvic floor dysfunction and can be addressed with a pelvic floor PT.
Unfortunately once they are already there, pelvic floor physio is not going to make them go away (especially during pregnancy). But definitely if could help prevent initially.
I’m currently 9 weeks and feel so awful. This video gives new hope I’ll start feeling a bit more normal in my second trimester !

Can you please do a video on how you change bed time and nap routines to run errands or if you leave the house in the evening and bring the kiddos? I am a first time mom and I have no clue how to have a life while not mess up my babies sleep routines. How do you keep them up later if their tired? Do you bring a pack n play so they can sleep? As far as sourdough bread goes, the recipe I use always turns out and I don't even have to use a scale to measure the ingredients. I always feed the starter with rye flour and use organic, unbleached, unbromated all purpose flour. I absolutely love this recipe! I tried to make sourdough bread so many times with different recipes and I got so discouraged. Then I came across this one and it worked every time! 😁
I also get awful varicose veins in my lady parts during pregnancy but mine were so painful I couldn't stand for more than a few minutes without a ton of pain. If they bother you, highly recommend SRC Health compression shorts! They saved me. I wore them every day of my pregnancy under whatever else I was wearing!
Don't forget to harden your seedlings before you transplant them outside! I learned that one the hard way. 😭

I sadly don’t feel movement in my pregnancies until so late, around 25 weeks. I always start to get concerned but each baby has been just fine 🥰🥰🥰. It is so sweet when you feel that movement 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

If you're sourdough is too wet to shape, I like to treat it like focaccia. So cover in olive oil, dimple out into a baking dish or cast iron pan, let rest in pan about 30 minutes before baking at like 350F-375F. It's not perfect but usually ok for dunking into soups or sauces.
We grow a lettuce table. Leaf lettuces, we can start picking around 3 weeks and it lasts until freezing and we have waybtoo much for just me and my husband but I love it!🥰🥰🥰 Sooo ready to plant but first I have to dig the snow away from the door to my greenhouse and garden 🫤🤣

The UA-cam Channel Garden Answer has some great seed starting videos. As long as you baby them, checking on them multiple times a day that helps. Aso important to make sure they are moist but not too moist for the seeds to germinate and putting a fan on them once the seedlings are up helps strength stems. Then prior to transferring outside it is important to harden then off by gradually exposing them to the outdoors for short increments that increase over several days. I’m sure your garden will be amazing this year but smart to have realistic expectations with a babe on the way.

Had our first shared vathtime with the newborn on my own and my toddler ran out wet whilst i was still dressing the baby

Just one thing has been on my mind lately, because I am from Germany and there are huge discussions on whether you should upload your kiddos pictures and videos on the internet. There have been lots of investigations around this, showing a lot of it is downloaded and posted on abusive websites. Don’t get me wrong, I really love your content, though Zach and you seem like such a reflective couple I am wondering why you still choose to show your children. I don‘t know if this is such a big discussion in Canada right know, too, and I would really appreciate to hear your thoughts about this :) This is not a hate comment, I am just interested in the process of your thoughts as a fellow parent.

Don't get too comfortable with where you're at with teething, my son is about the same age as Will and he just cut the second of his two year molars 🥴 maybe we'll get the other 2 over with before his sister is born in the next month or so and I can have one child sleeping at least 😮💨
