- A Minecraft Train Animation recreation of a horrific event taken place back in 1987 in Chase, Maryland, USA along the Northeast Corridor route
Amtrak operates on today. For 2022 marks the 35th anniversary for this horrific disaster in a Minecraft train crash recreation.

Sources were based from UA-camrs such as T1KSP (Thunderbolt 1000 Siren Productions) and other reputable sources across the internet.
All music was used in the UA-cam audio library and was used for the beginning, to mid, and the aftermath scene.

One of the worst train crashes in US history, January 4, 1987 is a day we should never forget. Unlike other collisions like Hinton, Chatsworth, Chester, and Cayce, I think this one has stuck out to many railfans including me.
Actually The Great Train Wreck of 1918 was the worst train wreck in US history that killed more than 100 people
This one was the 2nd worst one in Amtrak's history

I was in the 3rd car when it happened, one second i was sitting down doing work, the next my out of my seat. The last thing I remember was me heading to the car door, I broke my left leg, and was half deaf. I still have trauma from that crash.

As for some of the locomotives in this wreck, 5045 was totally destroyed and was never rebuilt. Not only that, but both AEM-7s 903 and 900 plus some of the coaches on the front of the train were also deemed a total loss and scrapped.

Do you guys think Gates and Cromwell knew their fate as 5044 slid onto Track 2 based on the expressions the crew make it 3:52 with the looks on their face make it appear they might of seen 94's lights or heard its horn prior to impact.
In the chaos of throwing the train into emergency realizing the signal, 1-North was a stop signal. I don't think Gates and Cromwell would of knew 94 was right behind them. Course his interview with 2020, Gates. He did say he was not braced for the impact. Animation was great, not trying to be critical of it.
Just curious if anyone else thought the same at 3:52. The looks on their face before impact.

Notice when the Amtrak hit the Conrail The speed of the Amtrak crash is very fast before the impact
The animation was rendered at 60 frames making it look very faster because if it was 30 frames it might have been more better but I went with 60 instead of 30 because I wanted smoothness just to note it does take longer to render. The animation isn’t always perfect because my animation with physics are pretty difficult if you ask me because during the making of this scene I had to face longer loading times and multiple program crashes and unsaved parts and intensified lagging.

This is based off a real life event which has nothing to do with the railway series which I wanted it to be serious for this animation.

That is the reason why I haven’t been making very many Minecraft Rail Disaster Animation videos for sometime because recreating a Minecraft Animation based on a real life event can be disturbing depending on the source material which some of it had to be excluded to ensure I’m not violating UA-cam’s community guidelines.

The Amtrak driver died in the most gruesome way, his head was decapitated in the real event which isn’t included in this Minecraft Animation or else it would’ve been too graphic which could’ve made this entire video not very suitable for advertisers leading UA-cam to demonetize it.
