- It was an absolute honor to perform for our Governor on the Indian holiday Diwali. Though our guest of honor, First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe, became ill, Governor McAuliffe took a helicopter and made it to our event that was attended by close to 200 guests at the Stacey Sherwood Community Center in Fairfax, VA. This piece is a fusion thillana, characterized by rapid footwork and gestures.
