Agreed. That or just get rid of them in a mono-type race like this. While even normal Gfreds have a bit of haves vs have nots going on, it's not interesting at all when the player agency of that is removed and it's just based on what the RNG gave you near the start.

I think the randomness of upgrades combined with the randomness of how much fuel you get is too much. Everyone should get upgraded or non-upgraded cars in refuelfreds.
