+Pammie Time I'm even older (over 60) and did it 17 days ago after just 5 weeks as a lacto-vegetarian. And the moment I read casein is addictive I cleaned my fridge and cupboards of anything with a dairy ingredient in it, including my once beloved "dark" chocolate but I haven't missed anything. I know there's no going back for me, if per chance I'm eating something "boring" (rare because I like to cook) I just think of the animals and it's not hard at all, I'm just angry that I was lied to for so long regarding nutrition (the "need" for animal protein) or I would've taken the leap a long time ago.
Heidi Caterina Hi Heidi. I was a Vegetarian 10 years ago, and became Vegan 4 years ago.No turning back. I chose this not for me, but for my absolute love and compassion for all Animals and my concern for the future of Earth. My heart rejoices for you. You have started a journey of the "Awakening" and you will be so peaceful and joyous!!
Really glad to see Moby's been on point with the message that we need to immediately abolish all subsidies for the disgusting animal-based Big Ag corporate world. Should have been done decades ago. The sooner the better. Check it out from 12:05 !
so much you can choose from, regarding the vegan food...the variety....without killing or having a dead stuff in the fridge... I´m so happy that way...everytime I look inside the fridge I pick color and health...veggie, fruit, chilli peppers :) I´m glad I made this big change in my life... Andy
Good call Cal. After a while, meals you used to think would be inedible without cheese become fresher and you fully appreciate the taste of the vegetables and sauces. The main thing is always that no animals were held captive, harmed, tortured or killed to feed me.
39pounder yeah. Back before I was vegan(but still vegetarian) this girl in class was making fun of me for being vegetarian, and saying that she wouldn't eat anything that didn't have meat on it. What a sad way to live.
Some of the best pizza's i've ever had were gluten-free vegan pizzas! Top that baby with a generous serving of chunky homemade marinara sauce, fresh garlic, basil, oregano, mushrooms, and tomatoes! So so GOOD. The possibilities are endless. And the real prize is how you feel afterwards. ;) Healthy vegan=Happy vegan.
Just tried Chao Cheese about a month ago. Love love love this stuff. I think a truly awesome vegan pizza is about to happen in my house very soon. This cheese makes awesome grilled cheese sandwiches too. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-YAM!!!!1
Qwazier3 Thanks for the feedback on the Chao, I tried it at the trade show, it IS good, I just haven't had it on pizza. It's not easy to get around here.
@FABULOUSinROME do you know where that is? or are you saying he should make that his mission in traveling -- since he travels so much -- to go find it -- and then share those locations with rest of world?
thanks for your efforts, fantastic, i've been vegan for 6 years and wanted u to know there r two good vegan pizza places on long island called 3 brothers pizza and 3 brothers vegan cafe..musically
Love being almost vegan, but can't bake without eggs, stealing a birds eggs is not really hurting it, is it? Unfortunately I have to bake, because I also do not eat grains and have to use seeds to bake my own products.
I have to say that i disagree with Moby here. He says that "death is a part of life" but that doesn't' justify the killing at all. Pigs are slaughtered at 6 months, but live naturally to 10 years. Goats are slaughtered at 3-5 months but live naturally until14 years, and dairy cows are slaughtered at just 4 years old but would live naturally until 18-25+ years. That's not okay. If i took your child from you at the age of 5 years old and said "that's enough now, he's had a good life, time to die", would you be okay with that?
If that's the case then I don't think he put that point across very well. I thought he meant he only cared about the inhumane conditions in which they're raised from this video.
I beg to differ, Urbano in Downtown Los Angeles made an AWESOME vegan pizza, to bad they needed bigger profits so they turned it into a bar, booze always sells better.
Could an American vegan, in good conscious, pay their taxes to the government knowing that their tax dollar is going to subsidize the factory farming industry?
Back yard chickens are still exploitation. The more eggs you take the more the hen will produce which leads to nutrient deficiencies and pain. Periods are painful, eggs are not humane.
I dont think he makes veganism look appealing. It sucks that vegans have to feel like an imposition because their friends are sometimes so thoughtless they can't be bothered to consider how their dietary preferences impact the planet, the suffering of other sentient beings, and their own health.
I completely understand vegans who wouldnt eat eggs or drink milk from humanely raised animals, but I would do it for the following reasons: Hen´s lay eggs regardless if there´s a rooster around or not, which means that those eggs arent fertilized and you´re not preventing a possible chickens life by eating it. How ever I would only eat eggs that the hen doesnt hatch anymore. With milk its also a different story, some cow´s produce too much milk for the calve to drink and the cow has to be milked to prevent inflammation of the udder and such, so what are you going to do with the leftover milk that the calve doesnt need anymore? Would be a shame to just throw it away wouldnt it? Of course if health is your major concerne then refrain from consuming either.
Makes no sense, being vegetarian because u mainly feel so compassionate for animals...mostly all(I mean all) available vegetarian products with milk, eggs, gelatine etc are based on products coming fron tortured (the worst way) animals....think it out, after they reach their peak of productivity, humans, which care more for numbers than life, set their life to an end....I know a farmer family which is in the egg business, chicken live quite comfy, but have to go after 1,5 yrs because thei not giving as much eggs than before...they sell each for 1,5 US...I mean, for a life....regaring that food supposed to be save ur own life, making u feel good....remember, those chicken suffer quite a bit to be, at the end, a second or two on your tongue...worth it...nah, I don't get it
there is an army of poor, oppressed , preyed-upon people ,that are NEVER gonna think about a "vegan" restaurant, all around me, and no one is saying much of anything.
I am 42 and became vegetarian 6 weeks ago and getting closer to vegan daily thanks in part to people like this guy.

There is Vegan Chocolate. So if you ever get the desire, there is hope.
I have so much respect for Moby 🙌🏻
Really glad to see Moby's been on point with the message that we need to immediately abolish all subsidies for the disgusting animal-based Big Ag corporate world. Should have been done decades ago. The sooner the better.
Check it out from 12:05 !
Moby is Awesome, love his music! Plant based is the future! He's such an Intelligent guy!
My greatest wish is no animal, human or not should suffer. Thank you for supporting all animals.
agreed!!
Not exploiting animals is the one single act that will help both the animals and humans as well as the planet
You're the best Moby
OMG HES A VEGAN IM GONNA CRY I LOVE HIM

Great artist and well presented information let's hope more people come to appreciate being vegan !
Why do people think pizza has to have cheese on it? I make my own dough and create my own plant-based vegan toppings and they're always delicious.
+39pounder I love pizza with no cheese
It tastes great! Just put a tonn of spinach, tomatoes, unions, Peppers etc.
I don't even miss cheese on pizza.
Good call Cal. After a while, meals you used to think would be inedible without cheese become fresher and you fully appreciate the taste of the vegetables and sauces. The main thing is always that no animals were held captive, harmed, tortured or killed to feed me.

I love making my pizza without cheese.A sprinkling of shredded basil or arugula is a great topping on pizza over the vegetables.

I think 19 is a common age for people to become vegan.
You become a lot more mature, and thoughtful.
I am 19 and have become vegan.
I had just turned 20!!
I became vegan when I was 16
Karen Elena Berbeyer I was vegetarian since 13, now vegan at 17 :)
It's curious how UA-cam automatic subtitles work... Take a look.
7:52 - "because suffering is AFFORDABLE", "we collectively INVOLUNTARILY inflict unspeakable suffering"
9:20 - "running CUTE slaughterhouses"
Creepy...
what r u even talking about
I used to yell into the local Butchers when I was younger.... I kind of like that young determinism, but it probably pissed the butchers right off.
Thanks. Great Video!
Great video. Thanks!
We probably all start out as militant vegans but we learn as we go.

Moby is the best!
Beautiful story about Tucker.

He meant it as natural death, not prolonged suffering or killing the animal. natural death can't be prevented, killing can be prevented.
If that's the case then I don't think he put that point across very well. I thought he meant he only cared about the inhumane conditions in which they're raised from this video.
Kell Hallman That’s the way I understood it too, hmm... I wonder what he meant 🤔
thanks, great elab on vegan life :-)
Agreed on the pizza part!
I beg to differ, Urbano in Downtown Los Angeles made an AWESOME vegan pizza, to bad they needed bigger profits so they turned it into a bar, booze always sells better.
Moby is amazing. If I can't get a vegan pizza I make my own.
AWESOME! :-)

About dying...most animals die at a too young age, as children. That is not okay! Apart from the suffering.
I completely understand vegans who wouldnt eat eggs or drink milk from humanely raised animals, but I would do it for the following reasons: Hen´s lay eggs regardless if there´s a rooster around or not, which means that those eggs arent fertilized and you´re not preventing a possible chickens life by eating it. he needs to discover good vegan pizza then! :)

i yell. no shame. im in a war zone. i live in the south.
there is an army of poor, oppressed , preyed-upon people ,that are NEVER gonna think about a "vegan" restaurant, all around me, and no one is saying much of anything.
Now he is a tatooed vegan gangster! hahahaha, i think he went too far, and now it's irreversable, what a shame.
