4 pliés in a slight first position
4 tendus in à la seconde alternating legs
4 pliés in a slight first position
Port de Bras: arms go through a preparatory position, first position, high fifth position then out to second. Finish with a Cambré stretch down to the floor. Repeat twice.
4 pliés in a slight first position adding a relevé after each plié
3 piqués à la seconde alternative legs. Repeat four times.
4 pliés in a slight first position adding a relevé after each plié
Chassés in both directions around your circle
4 pliés in a slight first position adding a relevé after each plié

Teacher Tip: Your dancers should be in the same Learner’s Circle as their Dance Me a Story™ Warm Ups. Before traveling around the circle during the chassés, it’s a good idea to let each dancer know who they will be following in the circle, this way you don’t have anyone crashing before you start. Practice once without music before putting it all together with the music. It can also be helpful to remind dancers that their belly button should be directed towards the inside of the learner's circle.
