"leave us out of it" could mean no ground troops but also no aid. Israel supporters believe that ending aid and weapons shipments is something like objectively anti-Semitic because you're basically signing the country's death warrant. Maybe Jacob Siegel disagrees. Or Vivek. They're in that minority camp that thinks US help is actually handicapping Israel somehow.

Jorjani’s take is super based & well put together. Infact 80% of iranians who are educated and have an average iq or higher will agree with Jorjani’s sentiment more or less.
I'm confused by Jorjani. Why involve Israel in fixing the political situation of Iran? I get it, he doesn't like the Muslim control of Iran. Wishing war upon your own ethnic background makes no sense to me. For sure, non-Muslims in Iran could become victims of war. It is like Americans wishing another country would intervene to fix a democratic communist uprising. It seems very passive aggressive. If he is so concerned with Iran, he should move back there and form a counter movement within the country against Muslim control.
The 13 colonies of America asked for and received help from France to overthrow the British. To do this, there were representatives working in France to secure funding, weapons etc...if Israel can weaken the regime with military strikes, then the Iranian regime's tight grip on the populace could loosen, allowing an uprising to take power. At least that's how I understand the strategy.

There have been many replies echoing the same thing. The difference of views can be summed up in: One side thinking that isolation from whatever else is happening means that whatever's happening will at the least not effect them or their country. The child's position is to imagine all the people in the latter group are either compromised or love the idea of military contractors making more money while our economy crumbles (or love bloodshed in general).
