  • Todd Tuckey shows you a Terminator 2 pinball machine that was in a house fire...and suffered smoke damage. The customer asked us to recondition the playfield and electronics while we had it (we did not sell it originally). There were already some LED's on the playfield, but the older dull ones! Its now be BRIGHTENED UP with the super bright LED's and Jason has lit the two capture holes...they look SWEET! PLUS-- a neat mod to the ship on the left that was already there!

I got a Williams Taxi in my living room. That one surely needs rework.

My mom is not a video game fan, but this is the only game in an arcade that she ever became addicted to and kept asking my dad for quarters. I'm guessing it has something to do with her being a big Arnold Schwarzenegger fan.

What brand of LED's do you guys use? I have bought from Cointaker, Comet and just recently Pinbulbs. The Pinbulbs package arrived today and man I haven't installed them yet, but their kits are non ghosting, cheaper than the other 2 companies and came with extra things like 4 spot lights, 2 led strips for the ball trough and back board. The price was way cheaper. I'm hoping these look amazing. By the way they are going in my T2 pinball.

TNT Amusements Inc We're having the same issue somethimes on our Judge Dredd, but when we push on the bridge rectifiers and elco's the problem is gone. So now where going to resolder the bridge rectifiers with the elco's. The solder on those components are also 21 years old :)

You should buy the long leg Rectifiers from Steve at Pinball Resource and replace them after all these years!!

A bridge rectifier is basically four diodes in one case. Check out the schematic drawing for a bridge and you will see they draw all the diodes. Using a digital multimeter you can test the bridges with the diode test function. A good visual examination of the solder joints can tell you if you have cracked or cold solder joints. You need good soldering equipment to change a bridge. Don't attempt unless you have a nice setup and practice.
