Awesome, such a great device and fun. Since the video I've kept it on me a few times over other handhelds. I'm assuming games saving high scores or save states are up to the individual developer to fully implement? If you do an update to a game, would you lose progress?
I pretty much loaded it and haven't hooked it back up to a computer since.
@UnpackReboot right. The high score data can be saved into the flash-ram if you know how. Some games don't even have a score and are more "free form". I think there is a way progress can be saved but it is rarely warented as most games are quite small. However games can employ to FX chip to store additional conteant. Check out Dark & Under II in the Adventure category. One thing you may want to do if you are reviewing games in the future is check out some of the greyscale games too. The community have created libraries where pixels can be oscillated to creat an illusion of a 4 bit display like a Gameboy.

Also there is an app by the community The Arduboy Toolset. Makes it much easier to upload new games. Worth getting for anyone with this system.

@UnpackReboot nice! Tried to drop a link but YT auto deleted it, I guess. Obviously just search on the Arduboy site. You could even create a profile and log in for all the inside info, very easy.
