My favorite marked deck is Red Keepers! Too easy to read yet hidden well in the back design. Love the deck not just because of the marking but also the handling of the cards..
Hey, I am the amputee Stormtrooper! Wow! I have actually never won anything unless you count that time at the carnival where I paid 30 dollars to throw baseballs at a bunch of bottles and ended up with a small Guns and Roses mirror with a cardboard frame! Speech, speech! First I would like to thank my family for putting up with my card collecting and practicing magic. Second I stick my tongue out at everyone who said it would never amount to anything. Ha! Look at me now! 😉 Third..... Okay, I'll shut up. Really though, that's awesome! Thanks brother! My favorite marked deck so far is Mirage. Great simply designed deck that still offers that custom feel and the marking system is easy to remember, fast and darn near impossible for anyone who doesn't know the system to find the markings. It's just an all around great deck of marked cards. Thanks again and thanks for another great review! This is the #1 channel for playing card reviews!
Favourite marked deck has gotta be the red bikes I marked myself. You just can't go past them being so standard and humble looking that it really diverts the focus of any skepticism to me. Would love to try out the DMC's thought!!!
Definitely in my top 3. I also love Madison Dealers, but wish they had an unmarked variant. The marked Split Spades (black deck) hold a special place as my first marked deck, and being the easiest to read, as well as just being instantly classic as most of Stutzman's work is.
Hello! Totally new to this channel. Subbed and liked because the content was good, not because of the contest. I look forward to new content and catching up on some old. My favorite marked/reader deck is Luke Jeramy’s Marksman deck. It simply gives you so much information but is extremely bold, if not downright dangerous. Have a good one, man!
Good morning Gentleman Wake, another excellent review with plenty of info without spoilers ... I come from the school of "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" ... so while I rarely use a marked deck the one I will use is the standard Bicycle marked deck and after years of use the marking actually looks (to me) larger than the card back itself ... this close to the mark (in case we miss each others), wishing you and all your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving ... as always thank you for sharing
Definitely my favorite marked deck are the Knights, by Ramsay e Madison, not just for the marking, but specially for the astonishing beauty in itself. Great video, and though I've been missing comments for some time now, I'm always here enjoying your content :)
Im new to the channel and I'm very disappointed that i haven't found it earlier. Great quality videos and very good and accurate reviews! Love it! Also my favorite marked deck of cards is the series 1800.
My favorite marked deck is the bicycle 1800. I love the worn look of the cards with friends and family commenting on me "bringing an old deck to the table'.
I love the butterfly playing cards. Because of the simple yet awesome butterfly logo in the back design that and the lining of the design that is freaking cool 🔥
My favorite marked deck is butterfly v2. The true linen b9 finish handles phenomenally, and the system is just beyond words. I'm not even going to talk about the intricate marking system, since whatever I say will be an insult.
Great video GentleManWake! My favourite marked deck would be the NOCs. This is because they are marked for suits, meaning i can separate the cards while they are face down. And thanks again for making a great video!
My all time favorite is Madison Dealers - magician friends of mine have taken the deck home with them for weeks and not been able to figure it out. Would love to see a retro-review on them some day! ;)
My favorite is still a speed reader, I just love the innocent looking of the bicycle back that makes the marking almost imperceptible for anyone who familiar with bicycle design, apart from that, I can't wait to get my hand on this DMC deck
my fav deck is either the dmc elites themselves or the 1800 vintage bicycles, i have loved the marking system ever since my mate showed me it and its been on my wishlist ever since. When it comes to the 1800's I think the markings are very subtile as they look a lot like regular bicycles.
I don't have a favourite marked deck because I don't use the markings yet. I'm still trying to learn some sleight of hand first. Maybe then I'll dig into the keepers, dealers, knights, or butterflies.
I'd have to say my favorite marked deck that I currently own is the Super NOCs. The Superman theme is amazing and The marking system is simple enough yet hard to find if you don't know about it. The deck that is marked that I'd like to get is the Knights by Ramsay and Madison, I've watched Ramsay's video on the marking system and it seems really intuitive to figure out. Thanks for the great videos Gentleman Wake! Can't wait for more!
My fav marked deck is David Blaine white lions series b red. I love how it even says mark d stutzman. although I haven't owned a marked deck I just love the look of these
wow the cards are amzing i love the green colour and those white little things that make the marking system. Really elegant and simplistic. I think that my favourite marked deck is the White Lions Deck by David Blaine, even though I dont owe one it's really cool. Great review Sir. keep the amazing content
My fav is Mirage playing cards Dawn edition by Patrick Kun. It's not hard to read and the marking system is great. Thanks for reviewing this deck, I'll go get some later! You are awesome! And also, congrats to the giveaway winner!
My favorite marked deck is literally any NOC deck by Alex Pandrea, the markings are hard to spot but that's also positive, it is also only marked for suits but still great for some effects. The back of the cards is just so unsuspecting that the markings are just perfect. I also love this deck, it just looks perfect XD Fun fact: DMC actually got me into magic!
Not entered one of these giveaway in a while, but as always, loving your work! I'd say that my favourite marked deck has to be Adam Wilbers red keepers deck. The markings are maybe a little small but I just love the overall design of that deck and their overall cost!
I don't have much experience with marked decks and the only one I've had was the kings deck from ellusionist. It was nice just a lil tricky to get the hang of.
Haven't purchased any marked decks as of yet as I'm still fairly new to the world of playing cards but from what I've seen in my rounds I'd probably say I really like the white lions!
Favorite marked deck for me is the Brooklyn Playing Cards, Brooklyn 101 Back -- easy to decipher once you know the system but almost imperceptible to others. I like that even from medium/far distance they are legible but since they're not reader backs I don't fear spectators catching on.
As far as 'marked' decks, I can't say as I've had anything but a NOC deck as an adult, and that is only recently. I got the purple deck and the system is a little muddied on them with that color. A question for you though, do you ever return to re-review decks after having used them a bit? Basically curious on handling and wear and tear on decks. Thanks, and great review. I'm actually circling this deck currently.
My favourite marked deck is... my usual Bicycle Rider back which I developed a marking system. Can't really afford proper marked decks so I've got that going for me :D
My favourite marked deck is the Madison Dealers (which are also, coincidentally coloured green), they are simple, elegant, the markings don't stand out. And the green actually works for this deck.
My favorite marked deck is the MINT deck(s) by Asad because the system is super simple and cause I have good eyes so it’s not too hard to see from far away and they look and feel amazing
Actually, I really like the standard bicycle rider back marked decks. This design is pretty common, which makes them so innocent. The markings are also so ingeniously placed to be easily read.
The maiden back decks are the least suspicious looking, however the butterfly decks are intricate to enough to hide they're marking system on top of it I hear that they have a marking system that is more detailed than others. So I think the butterflies hit my top list, another deck with a seemingly obvious marking pattern would be Chris Ramsey Knights. Cheers to maybe examining this deck as well now, I have seen multiple reviews of this deck and the previous one in the series and despite knowing that it is a marked deck I cannot decipher offhand what the cards are that I am looking at.
Their marking system. I have the Butterfly Playing Cards, and their marking system is amazing. It has a learning curve, but if you get the book "The Secret of the Butterflies" it explains it all. The DMC's are easy to read, and have improved the system with a one-way design incorporated into it as well. It's my second favorite deck, next to the Maiden Backs.
The White lions are my favorite marking system. There is no way a spectator would intuit that system, but with some practice it's remarkably easy to read.
I think Mint was really clever in using a simple optical illusion to mark the deck; but my favorite still has to be the classic and recognizable, yet innocently inconspicuous Bicycle Maiden back deck :)
Another great review. Seems like the marking system is just like the FedEx logo, where when once you see the arrow you can't unsee it. My favorite marked deck is the butterfly playing cards by Ondrej Psenicka. If you didn't know abt this deck I strongly recommend you to have a look. You always show that you are not a skilled magician. With the butterfly deck you too could become like a ninja in card sleights
I don't have hardly any marked decks, but I did quickly figure out and am able to use fairly well David Blaine's recently released Skull and Bone's Private Reserve. I actually kind of like it.
My only experience with a marked deck is the red keepers, but I also get nervous when using them because I think people would be able to read the Markings as it is literally just printed near the corner. I've been wanting to find something more discreet, hoping to win this deck for that reason
A great working deck that will stand up to dirty spectator hands that comes in a cool tuck box that transforms, it's marked, and it comes with a few gaff cards for some out of the box magic. The Piff Deck by Piff the Magic Dragon.
I don't have much experience with marked decks, having only one in my collection, but I think the butterfly's are amongst the most beautiful out there (not the ones I own so I don't know the marking system). I'm completely interested in these ones though, and am having a tough time deciding if my next marked deck should be these DMC Elites, or the aforementioned Butterfly's.
My favourite marked deck is probably Chris Ramsay’s knights. It’s brilliant and easy to spot. Once you get used to it it’s really easy to see. Also the cards feel great and handle great. I would really like to try out the DMC in the vid!!!
Its funny that you said that because these are my favorite marked deck I got a brick of the V3s and I got one of the V4s. Now tryna get a brick of the V4s.😁
David Blaine White Lions Series B. The cards are so easy to read in my opinion! Great review! Can you review the new David Blaine skull and bones. I have Mixed feelings about them and want to know you’re opinion!
I love David Blaine's Black Lions marking system...at least for the card color. My old eyes have a really hard time reading the value. So my favourite easy-to-read marked deck is the Bicycle Series 1800. Thanks for your review 👍 DMC Elites cards are among my favorite cards, they're so classy, but they're not easy to find at a decent price in Europe unfortunately 🙁
KNIGHTS Playing Cards by Daniel Madison and Chris Ramsay. The back design uses the tiny chess pieces as the marking system, and the broken border back gives the deck a luxurious yet playful touch.
Great video. Interesting to see the change to a 1 way design. I'm lazy so I'm not a huge fan of marked decks like Black lines or the Enigma deck. Seriously, the Enigma deck must be named after the code be sure deciphering it requires being a mathematician. I do like the penguin marked deck although it's a reader deck and I worry about people seeing the markings. I don't know why, they don't really look at the back of the cards anyway.
I've used the Mint decks from 52Kards for a couple weeks and they are arguably the best marked deck I've ever used. Easy to read the markings and the cards look great as well. I really wish I can win these cards to pursue my passion in magic!!

Really though, that's awesome! Thanks brother!

Hey AMpTrooper1, did you ever get your deck you won?
Favourite marked deck has gotta be the red bikes I marked myself. You just can't go past them being so standard and humble looking that it really diverts the focus of any skepticism to me. Would love to try out the DMC's thought!!!
My favourite marking system is the knights playing cards by Chris Ramsay and Daniel Madison and they handle amazingly
Yes they do Ja May! Thanks for watching!
@@TheGentlemanWake no problem your a great inspiration to us all
Definitely in my top 3. I also love Madison Dealers, but wish they had an unmarked variant. The marked Split Spades (black deck) hold a special place as my first marked deck, and being the easiest to read, as well as just being instantly classic as most of Stutzman's work is.

I really liked the video, just found your channel and I can instantly see you have passion for what you do. Keep on being you cuz we love how you are!
My favorite marked deck is the bicycle 1800. I love the worn look of the cards with friends and family commenting on me "bringing an old deck to the table'.

Great video GentleManWake! My favourite marked deck would be the NOCs. This is because they are marked for suits, meaning i can separate the cards while they are face down. And thanks again for making a great video!
Mint playing cards are my favorite. They’re the reason why I got hooked on cardistry
I really love the mints. Have the first 3 versions and can't wait for mint v2s to arrive!
The dmc elites look really awesome
I love and use all the time for magic/cardistry are the Red Keepers by Adam Wilber. The marking are easy to read.
I wish a had a marked deck to tell you my fav! Great video!!
Thank you
I love the marked MINT cards from 52Kards. It’s simple yet well hidden and the cards themselves look beautiful
My all time favorite is Madison Dealers - magician friends of mine have taken the deck home with them for weeks and not been able to figure it out. Would love to see a retro-review on them some day! ;)
I'm absolutely in love with the butterfly playing cards! The design is amazing and the marking system is just incredible!
For a moment I thought you stopped producing videos. And here you are, :)
Really love David’s Blaine’s lions series marking, they are so clever
My favorite is still a speed reader, I just love the innocent looking of the bicycle back that makes the marking almost imperceptible for anyone who familiar with bicycle design, apart from that, I can't wait to get my hand on this DMC deck
Awesome video, keep up the great work. My favourite marked deck is the juice deck as it can be read easily and apllied to any deck of cards.
my fav deck is either the dmc elites themselves or the 1800 vintage bicycles, i have loved the marking system ever since my mate showed me it and its been on my wishlist ever since. When it comes to the 1800's I think the markings are very subtile as they look a lot like regular bicycles.
My favorite marked is are the Mirage V3 from Patrick Kun. The markings are so subtle it’s awesome, and I love the color of the cards and tuck case.
My favorite marked deck is David Blaine's white lions. It's really creative and brilliant, and spectators don't suspect a thing
wow the cards are amzing i love the green colour and those white little things that make the marking system. Really elegant and simplistic. I think that my favourite marked deck is the White Lions Deck by David Blaine, even though I dont owe one it's really cool.

So far, my favorite is the Ted Leslie method. I'll have to give this a try! Nice review. Thank you.
Not entered one of these giveaway in a while, but as always, loving your work! I'd say that my favourite marked deck has to be Adam Wilbers red keepers deck. The markings are maybe a little small but I just love the overall design of that deck and their overall cost!
What a great deck and a simplistic design. The best ones I came across is the Mint with exclusive markings

I love the Butterflies and especially the new brick box that they come in.
The Butterfly playing cards. But I've never had the DMC Elite so I don't know if that marking sistem is better.
As far as 'marked' decks, I can't say as I've had anything but a NOC deck as an adult, and that is only recently. I got the purple deck and the system is a little muddied on them with that color. My favourite is the vintage bicycles! The style is so fersking awesome. And its bicycle, so the spectator won’t expect anything ;)

These cards are really good, I love the design👌
My fav marked deck is white lions. I know some people find it too wierd but I personally like them
They are coming out with an unmarked deck in January. My favorite marked deck is the Maiden Back Bicycle Deck. And these DMC Elites as well.
I love the "Mint" deck. Can't wait to get my new version early next year.
I think my favourite marked deck is 52kards' MINT because it is based on an optical illusion and it also looks very good as a normal deck.
I am a big fan of my Madison Dealers... but I really dig this deck’s low-key look!
The Bike 1800’s. For now at least. I have also the Black Lions by DB, but I still have no idea how to read em yet.

The nocs would haft to be my personal favorite marked deck. Thanks for this content man.
The bicycle inspire decks is one some of my favorite marked decks.
My favourite marked deck is probably white lions by David Blane I find it quite easy to read at a distance (after much practice).
they are not out yet but I am really excited about the new Mint 2 marking system
Favorite marked deck is probably the David Blaine White Lions. Subtle markings, amazing handling cards.
My only experience with a marked deck is the red keepers, but I also get nervous when using them because I think people would be able to read the Markings as it is literally just printed near the corner. I've been wanting to find something more discreet, hoping to win this deck for that reason
My favourite marked deck is the Phoenix Apocalypse Deck! I love the end of the world theme it presents.
I don't own a marked deck yet, but this is my favourite from those that I have seen so far.
My favorite marked deck is Knights by chris ramsay. I love the back design!

The bicycle inspire deck by blue crown is my current favourite marked deck.
The Butterflies deck is my favorite marked deck, but the Knights deck would be right there with it for sure.
I don't own the deck but I figured out the markings based on the description. I might have to pick up a deck.
My favorite marked deck probably would be the NOCs. Very hard to see but with practice it gets easier.
My favorite marked deck is the inspire deck! Love those bikes on the back.
My favourite marked deck is the ultimate marked decked because if the rider back design although people will have an easy time spotting it
I’ve never handled a marked deck before so heres hoping I get this awesome deck of cards to try out
My favourite marked deck is probably Chris Ramsay’s knights. It’s brilliant and easy to spot. Once you get used to it it’s really easy to see. Also the cards feel great and handle great. I would really like to try out the DMC in the vid!!!
Alfie Yeow hey man I might unbox the super Noc on my channel ..
Would you like to set it
Its funny that you said that because these are my favorite marked deck I got a brick of the V3s and I got one of the V4s. Now tryna get a brick of the V4s.😁
My favorite marked deck is the Butterfly deck by Andrej Psencka (sp?)
Gotta love NOC deck markings for their simplicity :)
My favorite is probably the NOC. I love the minimal design.
KNIGHTS Playing Cards by Daniel Madison and Chris Ramsay. The back design uses the tiny chess pieces as the marking system, and the broken border back gives the deck a luxurious yet playful touch.
Madison Dealers is my favorite marked deck since the design bleeds to the edge and is quite subtle.
My favorite marked deck is the mint deck by 52kards. It is very easy to learn and has a beautiful symmetrical design. 😁
I've used the Mint decks from 52Kards for a couple weeks and they are arguably the best marked deck I've ever used. Easy to read the markings and the cards look great as well. I really wish I can win these cards to pursue my passion in magic!!
My favourite marked deck is the code. One of the greatest marked decks going, also great review !
My favorite marked deck is the clouded paper deck. I dont know if it counts but its the only one i have
