Coloring my hair red/copper

❤️Remember when dealing with Reds or Browns you are formulating for the solution not the inspo picture!
🔥When lifting darker levels keep in mind the contributing warm pigments darker hair holds! Although I put -77 my natural level 2 hair holds some RED. Resulting in a reddish copper. Not as coppery when applying to bases 7+ with less contributing red
💖For my ends I added a level 5 because I needed some richness my hair faded so much and I wanted a chocolate copper. Again keeping in mind my hair pulls red and -6 contains some red so I will have deeper reddish chocolate copper!

Try your brows with the root color but 10 vol developer!

I read that 30 developer should never be used on roots let alone natural hair at all and the highest should be 20

As a hairstylist, we always use the manufacture directions… 30 VOL developer gives you 3-4 levels of lift. Her starting level is a level 3👍🏾

@@issa8492 The colour she is using is schwarzkopf permanent colour. So the mixing ratio is 1part colour to 1part developer.

I think its probably a bad idea to use 30 vol on your roots because its so harsh.
She probably does it because she is a hair stylist and feels confident on the chemistry and timing
