Smurf can be dealt with and lower skill player can learn a thing or two from them, while cheating/hacking its just that, cheating, no skills, nothing.

Also, not everyone have same purpose as you. Why do I need to care about "Learn a thing or two" from them by dying? If I want to learn, I search on internet the tactics and strategies or skills or technique to improve myself and train and build up muscle memory on it rather than forcefully playing against this smurfer. Some casual or busy player intentionally stay lower rank or not having much time to develop the higher tier skill. This is why the division between rank exist, to know what level of skill your enemies and teammates is and knowing it is around your range of skill. Playing a game against smurf is the same feeling as playing against hacker. It is waste time and knowing it is hopeless to try. You can't change the fact that at the end, Smurfer and Hacker doing same thing which is ruin some player game.

What's interesting is the cheater actually knows how to play the game. He knows how to do basic grapples, holsters when running, strafes while shooting, slide jumping and other stuff.
Im so glad Aqua died and found out about the cheater early. If she got champion on this game, she'd reach master and with a cheater. Wouldnt be as satisfying.
Imagine cheating in a battle royale game that's free just because you can't get good enough to actually aim at people. I'd rather take my own mediocrity at Apex than go get hacks and hit every shot, taking the fun out of the game.

I believe she died on purpose so she could spectate. She's wouldn't go that far in front of her team and start shooting another team by herself normally. There was no way she was gonna risk getting to masters with a game carried by a cheater. That would've ruined the whole thing. Good thinking Aqua.

I don't think so. if she wanted to die and spectate them, she could have easily just walked in a straight line up the ramp right into the enemy. There would be no reason for her to try and crouch beside the bin or to use her Q while popping that bat
@@Grizzle_y If she suspected the person of cheating and simply threw herself into the enemy so she could spectate but found out she was wrong, then all she did was feed. I'm not saying whether or not her intention was this or that, but it's possible she was suspicious and simply played less cautious because of it.

I really don't get cheaters lol. 7 years or so ago, my friend gifted CoD Warfare to me for my birthday, the game was already old I think. Every single map we joined, there were people sniping you with throwing knives from the other side of the map, various wallhacks etc. We got so fed up, especially me after realizing cheetos were destroying my birthday present lol, that we decided to go out with a bang. We downloaded cheetos as well, found an ''infected'' lobby already compromised by them, and targeted those people until the VAC banned us. Worth it. The VAC scar gave me some problems whenever people were to look at my Steam profile, obviously not believing my story (which is understandable), but I regret nothing.

Can someone explain which part made it obvious that it's a cheater? All I managed to see is that the aim looked like an aimbot kind of cheat, or maybe a wallhack because the guy seems to know exactly where the enemies are. But then the way they're shooting doesn't look like it's being "aim assisted" in any way, the trailing doesn't seem to be "robotic", if it makes sense. The only thing that made it seem like a cheat to me is probably a "homing bullet", if that even exists.
Also on 2:56 Aqua talked like a real master. "You're talented, but you wasted it on using shortcuts" kind of speech.
The bullets were homing bullets, they just land on the enemy automatically whether or not he aimed properly. You can see it around 1.27

@@HS-ts5wf he does to a degree. At least he looked like aiming the gun. Then again I don't play APEX so I don't know how the weapons behave, but the trailing aim looked like he's trying to predict the enemy's movements or simply to "control" them. Though the bent bullet trails ruined the illusion.

At first i thought it was a ping issue. It looks like aim assist at some point, but games like these do have aim assist a little bit. Sometimes a shot registers later than what you see due to ping. But then he starts shooting across walls and seeing people behind covers. Yeah its a clear cheater.
Pretty sure they're playing MnK not controller, so no in game aim assist and their teammate has an ability to let them see through cover.
Aimbot was the only cheat they were using, as far as I can see.
@@suparcamel5852 I cant be sure if the guy is using MK or controller, but iirc there are always minor aim assist regardless if you have it on or off to compensate for the delay in ping in these sort of FPS games. The few that doesnt have it is CSGO and Tarkov. Basically all console/mobile FPS have it on by default.
In the clip there are a few shots the person did through walls, which is why i assume they use a wallhack. I never played Apex so i have no idea what skills/powers the characters have. Either way, this guy with the aimbot is really shit with their aim.
As someone who doesn't play this game, how did she know he was cheating? What was he doing to cheat?
In most fps games people use a hack called aimbot which is a super blatant cheat which basically makes a computer aim for you instead of your arm this hack allows you to hit LITERALLY every shot you would want, no effort from you at all
Bullets were auto-tracking and literally curving to their target.
Bullet spread means not every bullet will hit your target, this spread is increased with movement and using an automatic weapon. In the cheaters situation, most players might've hit 20/30% of their shots, more if standing still and aiming properly.
This guy was hitting 90+% while wiggling around like a madman. Literal and obvious inhuman ability. They were using an aimbot to cause the crosshairs to hold the target and compensate/negate the bullet spread. Only reason it wasn't 100% would be because that'd be too obvious to the anti-cheat system - no one NEVER misses.
Well, by spectating from cheater's POV most FPS gamer can easily tell.
Crosshair tracking is abnormal. Its snapped to target even behind obstructed view.
You can lookup for videos about Aimbot cheater caught in action something like that.
The engagement at 1:27 is where it's the most obvious. If you start there, pause UA-cam, and use the . key to advance 1 frame at a time, I think you can clearly see how impossible the Pathfinder's aim is. He starts shooting at an enemy who is behind a building beam and not visible at all, and then is aiming down and to the left while all his bullets *somehow* manage to go directly towards the target he's not even pointing at. The enemy has taken 4 hits before the Pathfinder even manages to drag his crosshair up to being close to centered on the enemy. The way bullet spread works in Apex, even if the Pathfinder had been able to lock on to the target and keep his crosshair completely centered on the enemy the entire time they were moving upwards, random variations in the bullet trajectories would have caused some of them to miss. So basically, he had some sort of hack that gave him homing bullets.
I think the reason this might be hard for a casual viewer to see is because the cheater actually turns OFF his hack right after that engagement - probably because he realizes that he'll be spectated now that Aqua is down - so some of the subsequent engagements don't look as suspicious. For example, if you start at 2:07 and do the frame advance trick again, you can see what *normal* firing looks like from the same gun. The cheater *first* moves his crosshair up to center on the enemy, then starts shooting, and then even though the downed target is stationary and it's easy to keep his crosshair centered, about half the bullets miss because of random bullet spread.
By that point though, Aqua doesn't need any additional evidence to know that he was cheating. His dominance in 1v1 engagements during all the rest of the match (before Aqua started spectating) was already pretty suspicious, and the single engagement at 1:27 is just *so* obvious to a seasoned player as something that simply couldn't have happened without hacks that she didn't need to see any more.
This is why I slowly moving away from Apex (been playing for 3 yrs, it's hard to find a good game replacement), I will leave Apex for Splatoon 3 (been playing Splatoon 2 for 2 yrs), game is so fun, it has chill co-op mode, very rare you will meet hacker, non toxic matchmaking, way less toxic players, cute chars. I'll probably just be doing daily on Apex to keep up with season pass (no fill que thou)
I also confused how to check if someone cheats or not in apex, does the path cheat also shown at 2:28? i can only see that because of the shot kinda went through the wall, but honestly cant see from the other instance if the bullet looks weird or not, and does the bloodhound also cheat?

BH is safe. The biggest hint of Path cheating for me was, that he was able to join a Dia I/II/III lobby with his Plat II rank.
Ithink it's mostly the insane accuracy. Like if you looked at it, every shot hits the target even though the enemy was moving so quickly in air.
For your information, those shots would normally miss (if you tried apex before) but all of them fly to the enemy without actually aiming on them or predict where they are, just randomly shooting and everything hit enemy
@@felixling473 Could it be some kind of lag issue? Because I think the enemy was moving too quickly. From the cheater's perspective, they could be aiming directly, but when spectating, the bullet curves to reflect the fact that it hit the target. I don't play APEX, so I do let me think if you think it's impossible, or if you know that aimbots do in fact curve bullets.
