Marcus and lied to Jonathan and Susie telling them that the forensic psychologist had cleared so called Pete, but she had never done that because Pete never came back in for questioning. It was much later when Jonathan was told from the forensic psychologist that Pete was never cleared, but Marcus had lied to him and told him that he was so this caused the issue to be resurfaced with the SA of their daughter.

I don’t understand why we are mixing up issues. I think we do need to unpack all these:
1)Authority at Daystar? Joni (not Jonathan, not Suzy)
2) Joni’s new marriage and husband? Totally her business. She’s an adult not a child. Not Jonathan nor Suzy’s business. If Joni suspects her new husband, there are legal proceedings to secure the family’s legacy, and protect everyone
3) Doug and Lizy’s divorce? Totally their business. There are legal proceedings which I believe they must have followed. No one forces love or marriage on another. Not bible, not God. It takes two to tango.
4) Allegation about child abuse or molestation? There are legal proceedings to find out what exactly happened, and to redress the case.
NB: All these toxicity and whipping up sentiments is totally unnecessary. The Christian community should get matured. We like dabbling into people’s issues, quoting scriptures that we don’t really understand. Judging others so harshly, meanwhile we would do worse if such situations happen to us

I believe Jonathan has witnessed a number of things over the years in his parent’s management of Daystar. Maybe in early years it was OK and in the business for the right reason of leading souls to Christ. In all outward appearances it has not been focused on Christ for many years, rather money. If you heard the meeting with Jimmy Evans and Joni, Lamb and Jonathan and Suzi it was absolutely shameful. They use the word submit on Jonathan at least 90 to 100 times in a 90 minute meeting. Jonathan and Suzi were ambushed in this meeting and the accusations against them were horrendous. Some of the language that came out of Joni was absolutely not appropriatefor a Christian leader and especially the Christian leader of a major television network. The whole thing is shameful and reprehensible.

No, it is not resolved. The investigation was not resolved. There’s more to the story. You need to listen to the audio of the forensic psychologist who was involved. Marcus and lied to Jonathan and Susie telling them that the forensic psychologist had cleared so called Pete, but she had never done that because Pete never came back in for questioning. You need to get the rest of the story. It was much later when Jonathan was told from the forensic psychologist that Pete was never cleared, but Marcus had lied to him and told him that he was so this caused the issue to be resurfaced with the SA of their daughter.
