Hi Dr Craig In your presentation you said the T4 is the dermatome that corresponds to the nipple but in the summary, u said it's T6 Was that a mistake or i didn't get it well? I need clarification on this please
It’s a little confusing to use male nipples as a reference point and then give a pregnant woman as your only example of where it might be useful to take that reference. But breast position is (pardon the pun) a moveable feast: women’s nipples have far greater variability in position (especially where a bra is or isn’t worn, and particularly for larger breasts) - could you perhaps use a more relevant reference point next time?
My professor teaches like this. No difference. So, would be nice if you switch to ninja nerd, dirty medicine, medicosis perfectionalis. Those are free videos that can help you study. They don’t just regurgitate whatever is on the book and they explain the topics better.
Correction: At 21:16 it should say "Dermatomal levels T4, T10, and L1 correspond to the nipple, umbilicus, and inguinal region, respectively."
Thanks for this content @Lecturio
17:46 min says nipple is at the level of T4, and then 21:16 min says it's at T6, please clarify.
Yh I just realized that too
nicely explained. Thanks a lot sir! Huge respect.
