Bro I miss OG fn so much. I started in season 2 chap 1 and it was so simple. I watched the guided missile come and go, I watched the snipers gret their sound changed, and watched almost all the events. RIP old fn. This brought back so much nostalgia!
I remember when I was in 3rd Grade it was my first time playing Fortnite and I loved the Game and now as a 13 Year Old it will never feel the same anymore 😭

I always hear people complaining the game was simpler back in the days, and how they miss "old fortnite". But G, you gotta understand, people used to have fun because we all were noobs. All of us. No one would crank a 90, no one would triple edit and no one would sweat super hard. The problem isn't the game, that one is fine. Earlier today Ch. 3 S.2 dropped and we can't build. It's fun, it's a new way to look at the game for the next 9 days and I love it. The game is still good. It's the player base that has got way too serious. Just like with any game, as soon as you start having to try way too hard to play, for most people it stops being fun. Take as an example a game as easy as "noughts and crosses". If you learn the winning strategy, you will always either win or, if the other person knows it too, you'll always draw. It takes the fun out if it. To be able to enjoy it like we did in Ch. 1 S. 0 (which I did play, btw) we should accept to stop trying so damn hard. But it's very hard for that to happen, since people want to win, and not just "enjoy the game".

I'm even winning some matches, because I'm already used to hiding around. It's pretty great, I really hope this will become an popular LTM after this 9 days period is over ✌

You have an excellent point ngl so u have to agree here , in chp 1 s 0 ( I did play btw ) you make and excellent point of us being noods and that's why it has fun but now as you said people take to to the next level with wins and arena and cups and all that so it's a bit hard to enjoy the game but if u play the game with friends that aren't like sweats and are like you if will be very fun to work as a team

I don't understand why, but when I play a game for the first time everything is amazing for me. Like you start the game and you don't have anything and the game will tell you what to do and the gameplay looks amamzing when you play a game for the first time. After a lot of time some games like Fortnite will get lots of updates that simply destorys the game. Am I right?

Im og. I miss the way I felt getting home as a new high school student and posting my dubs on snapchat. I would post 2-6 a day of my wins with my cousins and people always wanted to play with me. I miss the days I talked to my cousins just to play and have a great time. We all grew up and are out of school living our own life.

i think a big problem with us missing old fortnite is with content creators like these, now im not saying anything against these creators like mccreamy, lachlan, etc. but they used to make slower, more mature content while now its like 1,000,000 miles an hour, like for example, the whole intro for this video was only 15 seconds, and with someone like lachlan, its rare for him to make a video over 20 minutes long, when he used to make them 20 to 30 every time, because now all the footage is so compressed, to make it faster and less memorable

I miss the old battle pass layout it just doesn’t feel right to buy the battle pass things with battle stars instead of just getting them when u go back to lobby. I also wish that like og fortnite u just get battle stars for doing quests and not xp.
