What a day !!!😮 Crazy town ! Thank goodness for Wiley. Everyone was safe is the main thing.
I remember when we would get up and outside by first light (the crack of dawn?) in the summer months to get things done before it would be too hot outside.
I got too hot going to the grocery store at 1pm, I got so sick....I promised myself from now until October I will get up and be at any store as soon as it opens to try to beat the heat....I had to drink a lot of water with electrolytes to recover....know you guys will get it all done, as the Universe sees fit.....can't keep swimming up river....will pray that things will straighten out for y'all
Thank goodness no one was hurt. It’s going to be a better day and when that filter is installed you all can take a deep breath and sigh of relief! Who’s taking the first shower???

we had that same water problem when I was a kid in Perry Co....to keep my white nursing uniforms white I had to use the old fashioned bluing....I don't understand just how sand could take the iron out of the water.....but you learn something new every day;

Question: This has nothing to do with this video, but I keep forgetting to ask....We've only ever gone to beaches along the Atlantic side of Florida and they are always so harsh, big, and strong...and I feel like a hacky sack being tossed around. How were the waves in Panama City?

I had one of those days too. I had a tree fall on my truck and the way it hit it can't be repaired. So bummed!😮
When we had our well dug we were told you hit water at 150 feet but the water is no good have to keep drilling we went 350 feet best water ever!
We had iron water and my mom used snowy bleach and it kept them white.

They could have dropped the concrete tank at the sight.
They they would not had the heavy equipment to pick it back up to set in hole...they did not load it onto truck with that hoist. It will take it down but not pick it up.
Nobody was hurt, that's what matters. Thank you Wiley for being available to dig the hole out. Bummer on the truck breaking. ❤

Honestly there could have been way worse places for the hydraulics to fall out of that truck. At least there it's kind of tucked away and not dead centre on your drive or in the road. And like you said, the filter was already down to the ground by that point so...timing wise that was pretty solid even if the overall situation is less than stellar

As they say - - it happens at the worse time. Heat here On lake Whitney TX, for the last three days 101 to 103 with heat index 112-116. Damn humidity sucks lol. Good luck with the sand filter installation. I am sure there is more to come about that. God Bless in all things.
in central CA., temp is 105 degrees. i just drink a glass of beverage every 2 hours . . . i'm the water cooler ... ha.
After 4 years of adding softness, an e change pump that was really expensive, nothing was helping our water was red and thick like tomato juice. We had another well dug. It's crystal clear now

Hey Mel n Gary, like others have said: no one was injured n the concrete sand filter wasn't damaged. Most builds have a couple of "Roller Coaster Days", yes, a small setback today, but the DIY progress both of you have made is something to be very proud of. Someday you will be chillin on your deck drinkin your fav beverages n laughin at those Roller Coaster Days with the grandkids ! Nuttin like framily.

Why did 3 men show up in the morning and only one showed up later? That PTO took a beating. I got wore out watching the guy going back and forth between the cab and the filter. If " Ole Boy" would have had his help he'd of stabbed it from the shit go. Without Anthony and Gary , it wouldn't have gotten that far. I love this channel. First time I ever commented on it. I've binged SLR and CRC. I follow most of the FRAMILY .. Imagine , neighbours caring and watching out for each other...I wished I was a part of it. God Bless all of ya.

Good things happen to those who wait!! Praise God no one was hurt. It will happen. My Dad used to say if all went on our timeline then who knows what may have happened. You will be happy when it's completed & this is a sorta bad memory.

Hi Mel & Gary!! WOW what a day!! Sorry you didn’t get your sand filter in yet but this was a great video. It’s been one thing after another trying to get that in the ground. I never would have guessed that a part falling off the bottom of the truck was what halted work today though. I’m wondering if they have another truck that can finish the job or do you have to wait until they get that one fixed? Stay safe and hydrated in this awful heatwave. 💜
You guys could of easily been making a video of complaints but you chose not to. You know that things can just go wrong. I think it is one of the things I admire the most about y'all. For you it is always the end result that is important and you will work your butts off to get there. When the dust, and sand, settles, I see a fishing & swimming trip to the lake to chill in the future.

Just a peak and valley kind of day. Just be thankful it wasn't in the air and felling broke and maybe fell on the well. That would be a heck of a lot to replace. Tomorrow will be a better day.
