This was very calming to watch and I love how open you were❤. I don't know if this is weird but I feel the total opposite when it comes to deserving things. I feel like I've been through so much and life has thrown so much at me and it continues to do so at times, but all that makes me feel like i deserve everything I want and more. It shouldn't even be this way but my thinking is like if I'm gonna go through things and suffer then I deserve to be compensated for going through all the obstacles. Like I am worthy of everything especially since I take what life throws at me and I'm still standing. That also kind of motivates me coz I'm like surely there is a light at the end of the tunnel, at least I really f****en hope there is one😂. Whew that was a mouthful😂
I think each year has challenged me in new ways, and this year will be no exception. However, I have noticed a shift in mindset within myself as well. I've been reminding myself that my worth isn't determined by how well I do at my job, how much money I make, how many friends I have, etc. These things, if in a good place, can definitely enhance your life, but it's about having a healthy mindset and seeing yourself separate from these external factors. You also cannot control how others feel about you and perceive you, and that has been such a hard thing to accept, especially when I tend to crave validation from others.
The bob is adorable on you and makes you look super youthful and fresh faced! I know it can be hard to go back to your natural hair after having done everything else to it, but embrace your hair. It looks beautiful and shiny. I always love watching your grwm or skincare vids while I do my makeup! You feel like a friend, so proud of your growth. You’re doing amazing🌳🫶🏽💗 Btw, your point on the “victim mindset” is SPOT ON. Especially when it comes to race and being a “minority” people treat me as if I need to be wallowing in my ethnicity and be sad and believe I cannot achieve what others can because of my race, when I sure as heck can!
