Bro other teams literally had to throw people out last second while others just ignored the changes or literally smurfed. Of course, they were salty. I don't think this team specifically deserved it being directed at them though. xqc was both the guy pushing for the rules and breaking them the most.

What's even funnier about the drama is that I don't think Warn even plays the Overwatch counterpart of Squirrel Girl, Junkrat. So any skill he had on Overwatch with characters like Ashe wouldn't transfer over to Squirrel Girl, only his game sense would transfer to Marvel Rivals. So, basically, whoever wanted to get Warn kicked from the tournament for such a reason is an absolute clown 🤡

People are really saying this comp is unfair despite being less powered up than the rules allowed, because guess what, Eternity is higher than Grandmaster lol. It was far more tournament legal than xQcs team or Shrouds according to the rules put in place.
There was a last minute rule change to where it was like only 2 could be above grandmaster. That is why doki had to drop out of her own team. But yeah xqc and shroud were way worse and they knew but refused to do anything.

The goals of the rules were to make balanced teams with people from all skill levels but some teams circumvented it by recruiting players with low MR ranks but top ranks in similar games such as overwatch or valorant. A lot of people didn’t like it as some teams had to swap out players arbitrarily and others didn’t. Just a big mess overall and lot parasocial biased viewers arguing that their favorite streamers did nothing wrong but that the other teams did.

You're probably never gonna see this, but you can technically get a triple Bond. If you use Bond, hold Blockade (but don't actually use it), and melee cancel Blockade, then you can use Blockade twice, and then once cool down for Bond is gone, you can use it again in a fight to get 3 Bonds at a time. It doesn't stack though, so using Bond before you use the recharged Blockade will cancel out the recharged Blockade, even if you decide to use Bounce instead of Blockade. I'm not very good at describing it, but if you try it out, you'll understand. Atleast, until it gets patched, lol. Anyways, loving the videos!
I think I figured out a better way to compare teams. Assign a number value to each rank like Bronze = 1, Silver = 2, ect. Then just add the combined ranks of all the players together. For instance Myths team had a score of 24. Your team had a score of 29. Then just say your team cannot have more than X combined rank points. Would make team building more flexible.
You gotta look at other games to cause the teams with ex overwatch high rank player/ pros always did better and made the tournament unfair and sweaty. Such as aspens team having 4 over watch pros by what twitch rivals say

Necros’ team consisted of multiple Eternity / One above all players prior to the rule adjustment. We had 3 GM and 1 Celestial. WAY different level of skill + commitment to the game
