@@kennethwilson8236 I haven't had any issues with previous generations, 1st one was a socket 423 with rdram, last one was a socket 1150 with ddr3, which I only replaced a couple of years ago. I would not touch them with a 10 foot pole these days though, they lost the plot. The duopoly needs competition, and not just from ngreedia.
@@Skobeloff... Obviously, but they're two totally different things. Tom Peterson and the animators for this video didn't cause the 13th-/14th-gen stability issues.

If you'll be testing one, could you please try as many old games as possible (DX9 and older)? Main reason why I avoided buying A770 was lack of support for the older games (some ran horribly or not at all), so if you could test if Intel made some progress in this regard for Xe2, it would be absolutely superb.
Can’t wait to see it, sure be watching your channel. I’ll definitely be testing battlemage once it comes available, might not be able to get every single card but I’ll do my best.
I’ve been enjoying XeSS on CP 2077 and Hellblade 2, Intel can catch up to Nvidia and now we can mix and match upscalers in some games. For example I can use FSR Frame Generation and XeSS Ultra Performance in Stalker 2
Intel was smart hiring Tom Peterson and when I read negative comments about Battlemage, I trust Tom wouldn't release something that is not a significant better product. With Nvidia likely raising prices yet again, let's hope Battlemage is a great option for lower end that has great performance at the low and mid range.
There was a lot. And lot that was kept. Just looking at the percentage gains and new ways to do things better Battlemage will be a huge thing. Lunar Lake is for mobile a system-on-a-chip (SoC). Have dedicated CPU (Arrow Lake/CUDIMM) and GPU via PCIe 5.0 direct access to CPU and I think we are challenging the higher mid range. Can't wait to get the full INTEL system for APO.
Im sorry. I just got word from Pat Gelsinger that theyre recalling all Battlemage GPUs and have axed Arc just weeks before Battlemage's desktop release. Sad!
It will be announced officially on 3rd December next month Released on 12th and reviewed on 13th It will release with b570 which has 18 xe2 cores based on same die G21 I think Intel will release higher end cards later on So B770 and B750 (or B760). Then who knows if it has a higher card. And probably release lower end cards of this architecture later down the road. These cards definitely looks promising Same node as Blackwell so they're efficient Reasonable prices Fixed functional architecture Extra features Etc. All hope for Intel to succeed and deliver. Definitely will pick a Limited edition high end sku
Higher frame rates, higher frame rates... the fact is, games that ran poorly on 2013 Intel integrated graphics run about as poorly on 2021 and 2022 Intel integrated graphics. Yes, the frame rates are higher but it's the driver that you guys need to work on.
You need to sell millions of these even at a loss to gain market share. CURRENTLY, your market share for discrete GPU stands @ EXACTLY _ZERO._ I looked it up. Just as AMD had to keep their CPU prices low low low to gain market share on you. *IT WORKED.* Anything above $200 is a NO GO. As there would be _NO POINT_ buying yours over Nvidia/AMD which are superior in EVERY WAY both hardware and software. Again: NOTHING above $200 or it's GG 4 U.
I have to say, whoever is the editor and animater of this video did an amazing job and deserves a raise.
yup he caught my attention really.
It was AI !
Jk
Battlemage is next! Here we go!
Ikr can't wait!!
Whoever came up with the idea for that hybrid rendering animation needs a raise. (It’s probably TAP so he’s good 😂) And the artist’s work is good too!
Excited for Battlemage and great work on Lunar Lake
Tom Peterson is the guy you want to explain these complicated stuff in simple terms.
Make this guy Intel's next CEO.
They need to keep the PR updates going during the year. This guy is one of the best
Shouldn't they concentrate on releasing trustable products?
@Skobeloff... My system has been solid as a rock.. no issues.. all my stuff is Intel. Wish they still made motherboards

In case there's any interest, I am ready to test Battlemage!

I have a Dell XPS with the lunar lake processor. Stellar performance.
Very excited with Battlemage and Arrow Lake mobile!
Battlemage is NEXT, yes please.

Descent was a game changer back in the day - no pun intended
I dont want to nitpick here, but isnt the Display Engine located somewhere else at 6:41 ??? Isnt what is shown the L3 Cache of the P-Cores?
1:51 The Tomb Raider clip is from Rise of the Tomb Raider which has no raytracing.
The editing and animations were very well done. Great work!
Give update about battlemage
Can't wait for battlemage. Really excited to upgrade my Arc A770 LE
Hmm, why cache line size is still 64 bytes ? NVIDIA has cache line size 128 bytes...
Should I buy the ROG ALLY X tomorrow or just wait for the Msi Claw 8 AI+ next year?
Can’t wait to get my hands on battlemage GPU’s! Hope you guy will succeed and get some market share.
Please, No Mandatory ReBar Support required please

Why aren't intel igpus a Tile based deffered Renderer?
With the new iGPU being the fastest out there so far, it shows some promise on Battlemage...something good!
Dont never give up, push your gpu to up
I hope battlemage B770 releases in the 1st quarter of next year and it is not more than 350$. Intel is my only hope for a low budget gpu.
"Battlemage is next"
Music to my ears
Battlemage is the next and last discrete Intel GPU at the same time.
What? No it's the second in their Arc lineup and will be followed by Celestial xe3 architecture and later on Druid.

I’m excited for Battlemage. I want to see what it can do on a computer front now it supports FP64
Intel Battlemage is COMING!!!!!!!!! CES 2025 will be nice
When Battlemage?
Love me some Tom Tech
Lets go intel!!!
I have Déjà vu : 1997 Pentium with MMX ( Matrix Math eXtensions, MultiMedia eXtensions) and currently Xe Matrix eXtensions (XMX) :d LOL
B990 ftw!
Please don’t let me down ❤❤❤
I love the work you do Tom.
Iwant built my pc gaming whit all intel chip
How many people has intel unemployed in the last 5 years?
I prefer lower latency over higher framerates. 200fps isn't worth it if there is spikes to 50ms every few seconds.
Battlemage!
XeSS is goat
please dont cancel battlemage

Yes Intel keep it up
igpu of intel very compete with amd
My wallet is ready for an upgrade from A750.
