Became she is probably like most of us: Love what she does and work hard every day :-)
1. Because the music industry caters to gen z and they love rap while despising 80s tracks and 80s inspired tracks.
2. Because even though she already had great original songs produced for her, she needs more original songs and the ones produced for her, lack the dynamic range songs on vinyl had back in the day and also have the wall of sound that is used in music since Phil Spector's stuff started to be a thing for most songs, while having point number being the main gigantic issue of not being enough people interested in amazing 80s and 80s inspired songs.
3. Her voice even though is amazing and she can sing, demands original compositions that not only are hard to create but are being held back from being created. I cant remember correctly but supposedly, there is someone in the music industry, with the rights for the basis for many, many rock songs and if anyone produces a new rock song with that, has to pay a ton of money to that person. All of this, on top of a shrinking market because most of gen z has the worst taste ever.
I can’t say ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ enough Chez you could sing the dictionary and make it sound incredible 🎉🎉🎉
Again you proof that you`re the true Rock Queen and give me the chills with your genuine performance. Please be so kind and do me the honor and perform a live gig in Hamburg or Bremen.

@ChezKane I'm just curious how you came to have such a love for that particular era of Music. The 80s was an amazing time to be alive. We were going through a major culture shift and technology was just becoming part of the landscape. The idea of music suddenly having a visual element was a shock to our senses, but we loved it and we owned it.

Doing a popular Journey cover can be disastrous since Steve Perry has such a wonderful unique voice. However, this version by Chez is Amazing! She captured the essence of Journey and made it her own.

Simply wonderful. So many have covered this song and always attempt to hit that range, forgetting the single most important rule of covering a song. Sure, the original song was wonderful, but when covering such a legendary piece, or any for that matter --- make it your own, in your own style and don't try to reinvent the song that made it originally famous... add what makes YOU special to a special tune and just let it happen. GREAT work, Chez. I've been following you for years and am so proud of you. Your voice continues to be felt at the soul, and inspires!
