    It gets there in the end. Tunes in 3/4 time seem a lot more difficult.
    Conn 28A cornet - not a trumpet.

    What back tracking is that? far better than iReal pro. Excellent play. ( what recording and mixer program do you use?

      It was one I found on UA-cam but I think I changed the key it was in digitally. I use Audacity. Very simple really.

    Good evening Gordon, could I ask you a question. Another one of my nephews is wanting to take up the cornet. Now I have got the chance of a Besson 600 in yellow brass with a very small bit of corrosion on the bell but nothing major considering it’s age and plays spot on. However for the same money I can get the John packer JP 171 sw in silver plate. Which one do you think would be the better choice considering he’ll want to upgrade at some point, the Besson I believe may hold its value more than the John packer?
    I’d be grateful for any feedback, thank you.

      Both are good instruments. If the Besson valves are not worn then it's a better buy. It really will hold its value.
