Even when Lupe dumbed it down, there was a clear message and a lot of word play. He didn't even try to process what Lupe was saying. He was just listening at a surface level. He was shaking his head over the line where Lupe brings up Primo, Elizhi, Slaughterhouse, and D12 like he wasn't understanding but got giddy when it was obviously about Marshall. The salem-witch line wasn't just about lies, it doubled by calling Royce a sidekick (Salem the cat is a sidekick to Sabrina the Witch). Tons of meta stuff from the pod that people who watched and specifically Royce knew about. Osyris is who Lupe considered the best rapper in the world because he won an MC competition Royce is afraid to rap in. The flash line was about Royce lying about hating cape shit and the flash, but then the photo of Royce in a flash shirt got leaked (one of the secrets he kept from the staff...). Even Mickey clowns him on it. The Jay & Nas line isn't just truth, it's something that irritates Royce. The master and apprentice... calls him an amateur and his production amateurish. Lupe was doing what Royce claimed he couldn't do. Be direct, ruthless, and battle. Royce asked for this claiming he couldn't be versatile. He obviously never listened to the SLR tracks or Enemy of the State mixtape. Well, Lupe spoke to his soul, not with Food & Liquor but with Medicine & Killing. It wasn't about being a rap exhibition. He was gassed up. Royce accused him of liking white people more than black people. So that first verse was just flipping what Royce was saying. What has Royce done for black people besides rap about killing black people? The "put a hole in your son while he's holding sun chips" line was a double. He's talking about killing Osyris by claiming Lupe is being a dad and overhyping him. It also has to do with kids getting killed in Chicago, something Royce knew bothered Lupe. That would eventually become a triple when Mickey asked Royce (Lupe has no kids of his own, Mickey has a son) if that was a stray for him and Royce told him not originally but now it is. As for this track, he told Mickey to check boxes, stupidly issuing a challenge to a battle rapper. Even Joe, who is on the same levels shit Royce is on, wanted nothing to do with Mickey. When Mickey got off IG, he kissed his wife goodnight, and went to the studio. Jotted some ideas down and rapped. The next day, it was done and out. Didn't waste his time and came direct just like Royce asked. Showed his pen and his versatility. Rapped as himself, RJ, Ransom, and Crook with meaningful bars. Royce said he couldn't rap like him. Mickey did that too and broke down his entire pen game. 8 months later, Royce hasn't responded to anyone. Just cried for backup. Royce lost because he came out trying to prove he could rap, but he wasn't saying anything. It was highly technical filler. In the end, Lupe and Mickey probably saved his career. You thought I was all about Royce, but Mickey just went stupid on here, the way I would have wanted Lupe to respond. & This is my 1st time hearing this guy.
I've been watching your vids and subscribed since you were under 20 subs and reacting to Joyner. This is the thing I have disagreed with you the most. I have no idea what you are talking about. This is better written. This is not a better diss(still better than Royce's). Lupe was exploring and exposing deep character flaws and shady moves from Royce. Even freestyled/punched in it hit extremely hard for me. You are being fooled by lyrical miracle of a song that barely mentions or addresses Lupe and says close to nothing in 7 minutes. I think you are being extremely defensive after you got pushback in your last video. I hope you don't develop a reactive distaste for Lupe because of that pushback, because he's one of the better lyricists in rap and I bet you would love a lot of his catalogue if you give him a chance. Cheers...
As much as I 💜 Royce, I can't even lie.... This 💩 is 🔥🔥🔥. But Royce, imo, can go just as hard if he chooses 2. I don't understand y anyone went after Royce in the 1st place though? Is it just bcuz they didn't like the way Royce responded on IG instead of laying down a diss track? I don't understand y that would matter 2 them so much? I'm not really well versed on the whole thing though so I'm sure I just don't get it, but it sounds like there were maybe some other underlying issues within the podcast that may have helped start this whole thing?? Any feedback 2 get me up 2 speed would b appreciated, FR FR. Anyways, TY 🙏 4 another great reaction, appreciate u 💯!
Thanks for this comment. To Lupe and Royce seemed cool when they're on the podcast, but it seems like when they are on IG with other people Lupe switches sides. Lol Maybe it's just me. 🤔
Royce didn't like when RJ Payne said him and Random was the best in the game right now. Royce then started talking shit and not giving other rappers their flowers. Him and Lupe never was cool they just came together for a podcast but even then you can see they was bumping heads and Royce talking down on him. It was only a matter of time before they clashed. Mickey wasn't going to get in it until Royce shitted on him with the checking boxes talk. Then Mickey asked him about that sun chip line and Royce said yeah that was for you what you gon do about it. Royce let his ego get in the way. He could've just gave everybody props but he chose violence.

Look Mickey and Lupe killed Royce that technical rap is fine but when you go at a emcee you got to be direct and get to the point. Which that's what Lupe did. And if you do not know what's going own you shouldn't be reacting. Mickey and Lupe been told Royce if you a better rapper than Nigga rap go in a booth talk your ish. Thanks for that.
I like hip hop that I can feel, no matter how it's presented and I think you do too.
You mentioned Mural, and I can respect it for what it is. It's very complex. I wouldn't recommend it as a reaction video
Lol. He clearly said he don’t know Lupe so why not get to know him then.
@@AldoTegan he could get to know him with a song like Hurt Me Soul
@@ajd9060 hurt me soul is not the greatest showcase of his pen. But more of his artistry
@@AldoTegan exactly. But it's a song that's written beautifully and makes you feel. That's the whole point. Just because something is complex doesn't mean it's better
Ok, so.... when are you gonna react to Mural?
He battled mista fab the footage might be out there somewhere
Royce in my top 5, but Royce is 0-2 right now. He better get in his Malcolm X diss bag, his best diss so far by far. #CheckingBoxs
You was talking and missing bars! U missed the renegade bar
Check out the whole art piece On Mickey Mouse that FACTZ did over sea’s
React to more lupe. It should almost be a crime to judge his pen off of kick push.
Man you aint gotta keep explaining why you ain't like Lupe shit.
I think I did.
This song sounds complete.
Lupe's doesn't.
It's not about how fast you can respond, it's about how you respond.
You can feel how you feel though.
You thought I was all about Royce,
but Mickey just went stupid on here,
the way I would have wanted Lupe to respond.
Lol
Maybe it's just me. 🤔
@@YouFlow TY 🙏.
@@myrakimbrough6612 thank you!
@@hoodcounselor TY 🙏 so much 4 breaking that down 4 me. I was so confused and definitely needed the clarification. I appreciate u taking the time 2 catch me up with things, 💯.
Lmao you feel like mickey the type to take his time….? royce has yet to respond 😑…. and you ont think royce aint write his thats funny tho why you think he takin his time cuz he know he better come with fire if he gon shoot back he ponderin’ a whole lot right now 😂 and dont @ me either cuz im a royce fan aha
I'm a Royce fan, and he's taking too much time right now. Lol
Bro em cant fuck with FACTZ YOU DONT UNDERSTAND
Lupe smoked Royce.
Do not rant on IG you a emcee spit in the booth.
