So this is the person responsible for all those scraps of paper, little round eged metal scissors and paper lanterns from the days of my childhood from the early nineteen sixties. I used to love this programme when I was small and led on the sofa suffering from asthma, completely enthralled glued to our black and white "Decca" telly. The tv was complete with concertina sliding doors that you pulled across the screen when you had finished watching!❤
Vera McKechnie also presented a ' magazine ' programme for Children's television called ' Studio E ' and later ' Focus ' , presumably at the old Lime Grove studios .I also just recall Patricia Driscoll also presented ' Picture Book ' on Mondays , I think before this edition .
WOW! I'm in my mid '60's and I've been reminded of the 'wishing flower'...totally forgot. And I remember my brother making the lantern ...thanks for the upload!
i do not remember this but the dog is v good Gerry Anderson level puppetry i think the wires are invisible because or the low resolution are the dogs exclamations david Graham perhaps? anyway amazingly great
