I don’t think Micah has a battle mode to her. The dolls are classy for sure but Danielle and Gabby (I forgot whether KP had one) had a battle mode. You could tell a normal song vs when they were battling. They’d have that look in their eyes. Micah didn’t give us nothing and I was disappointed tbh.

The whole squad has amazing dancers but not everybody can be a leader and that was clearly shown. Even though a lot were disappointed with Gabby, she brought something to the table. She was bougie, had sex appeal, and gave you intensity when needed. Her count selection was good as well. Micah has sex appeal but her count selection was not good. She messed up so many times in 2019-2020 when she was captain. Gabby and Jordon occasionally gave her that look and after Gabby, Taneria, and Jordon left, Cam kept them on beat a few times because of Micah’s mistakes. I just don’t see what people saw in her as a leader 🤷🏽♀️ Janae has that IT factor and she definitely can deliver and put on a show. She has sex appeal and lots of intensity. Like I said, I love me some dolls but under Micah’s leadership they weren’t getting anywhere 🤷🏽♀️

Janae is such a captivating dancer! She is innately a wonderful dancer and she has the "IT" factor. It is wonderful to see so many beautiful black women as Stingettes and Dolls who are thriving and displaying black girl magic in all of its splendor! So proud!
I am a doll stan, and in my opinion I feel like the dolls took the stingettes light, and when the stingettes came to PLAY the dolls weren't ready so the stingettes with the W but dolls forever have my heart

The Stingettes destroyed the Dolls. I love me some Dolls and that front row of former aces (Jordan, Gab, Ari, and Neri) constantly gives me life, but this was an absolute poor showing. The Dolls have an EXTENSIVE count book and Micah throws the same 15 across all games. Their "highlight" was literally that moment where she started that count, the dolls got up one behind the other, and then they all sat down together before she threw a different count. We're not even gonna get into the fact that Micah is allergic to anything other than ripples if we're being 100% honest. Otherwise.....Janae and her girls threw down, debuted new counts, and had all eyes on them and they know it. This wasn't even a battle, just a slaughter and it's a damn shame because the Dolls could've gone toe-to-toe with them if they tried harder. Starting with them damn gym uniforms and the count selection on a llooottt of these songs ._. Still love them though, just constructive criticism

I have just discovered this majorette thing, we don't do this in the UK. So far from what I have seen the stingettes are just on another level than everyone else, though that may be down to my preference in style of dance and how they present themselves. They have a uniformity to them that the others just don't have. Janae is just stunning. I don't know how she holds her smile for that length of time..... She looks like she is doing a great job as lead. This is a whole side of black culture I didn't even know existed, but I am so glad I found it.... I loved the dolls but on the stands I think they rely on that sat down but with your leg in the air move too much. I wish they had been able to find some tights/pantyhose that matched their skin tone a bit better, and the gloves were so distracting. I thought I was in a museum and they were handing out very old precious books! I look forward to watching for the rest of the season X

I love both groups! They both have very different styles and I personally love that. All of these young ladies are very talented, and deserved to be recognized.
I love my Dolls. I am getting bored even tho they are the cleanest squad in the nation. We need new counts. The curls are way too tight. (Loosen them up to give more length.) It gives old lady at times from the captain. She is forever gorgeous tho but I need different hair. She had the style all 4 years.

Stingettes have always been better in the stands. However they've become much better on the field too. They are edging the Dolls out as the stronger team overall. Dolls just have a really elite brand/position that holds them up. If Stingettes keep up the talent they will be the most elite line in the SWAC.

Difference between Micah and Neri is that Neri gives energy and personality behind all her movements. That’s why she could do anything Micah does and we’d live for it.

All eyes on me by SU was supposed to be Michah “It Moment” and she missed the mark. None of the counts really went well with the song. Gabby threw the correct count for the ending but I felt Morgan when he dropped his head to his elbow. It got tired halfway thru. The band sounds really good though. JSU still gone embarrass them and the Dolls. The Stings did it with little to no effort so KG will do it with ease as well.
Dolls will keep letting other teams get the nod as long as they have Michael “Jordan” on the front row as backup when she can can dance every captain in the SWAC down Release the dragon SU!!
All talented young ladies on both teams. Seriously, I cannot see Janae on any other team where she will be restricted in displaying/performing her raw skills, & Fresh Innovations. That little paddy paddy pat pat you did on the desk during the stingettes set was cute boots 😩🔥. Dolls just ain’t holdin’ this year and I’m Doll all day. I’m not here for seeing them sweat, all the other teams have that down packed 😉. But they do have to bring some sort of simmering intensity to pull off their more refined and understated approach. In my opinion it’s best served with MILK. KP’s Era was the Era of THEEE DOLLS for me! It’s about embracing ease and grace in a way that’s present, perfected, and unbothered. That’s not what’s going on here. Dannie gave you Intensity and kind of a cutting edge creativity, this isn’t gong on at the moment. Gabby did not serve for me most of last year, her final game she slayed me, but that’s about it... but NOW!!! She’s one of the best people on the team this year to me and that’s a lot for me to say. She also in my opinion has the strongest count selection off all the modern captains, her mind is sorta next level. That also is not happening here. And that’s all. There’s nothing of note that’s being brought and it’s been a minute into the season. They gotta stop playing around with they Captains.

I will say, when SU played 2 Pac I Ain’t Mad at You, I was seriously expecting some hot fire from the dolls. Not to start anything, but had Ms. KP (Kayla Pittman) thrown these same stands, she would’ve ate me down!!!!!!!!
I feel like some of the stands she threw for other songs should have been for I ain't mad at you, because she was just off with counts...and it didnt go together at all...
I personally dont like the dolls captain but I wish cam was on a team where she utilized her full potential she just trying to fit in with this team and style but I still love her!!

I love both groups! They both have very different styles and I personally love that. All of these young ladies are very talented, and deserved to be recognized.
I love my Dolls. I am getting bored even tho they are the cleanest squad in the nation. We need new counts. The curls are way too tight. (Loosen them up to give more length.) It gives old lady at times from the captain. She is forever gorgeous tho but I need different hair. She had the style all 4 years.

Stingettes have always been better in the stands. However they've become much better on the field too. They are edging the Dolls out as the stronger team overall. Dolls just have a really elite brand/position that holds them up. If Stingettes keep up the talent they will be the most elite line in the SWAC.

Hi Morgan, Another good review and like always you made me laugh. I appreciate both teams talent and their unique style. The Stingettes gave a more engaging performance. They came to battle and got the W. Janae is an exceptional dancer and really owns that Captain spot.
I watched this so many times.. they were honestly tied until I ain’t made at cha.. I felt like Micah started too late and never caught the beat
Difference between Micah and Neri is that Neri gives energy and personality behind all her movements. That’s why she could do anything Micah does and we’d live for it.

All eyes on me by SU was supposed to be Michah “It Moment” and she missed the mark. None of the counts really went well with the song. Gabby threw the correct count for the ending but I felt Morgan when he dropped his head to his elbow. It got tired halfway thru. The band sounds really good though. JSU still gone embarrass them and the Dolls. The Stings did it with little to no effort so KG will do it with ease as well.

That little paddy paddy pat pat you did on the desk during the stingettes set was cute boots 😩🔥. Dolls just ain’t holdin’ this year and I’m Doll all day. I’m not here for seeing them sweat, all the other teams have that down packed 😉. But they do have to bring some sort of simmering intensity to pull off their more refined and understated approach. In my opinion it’s best served with MILK. KP’s Era was the Era of THEEE DOLLS for me! It’s about embracing ease and grace in a way that’s present, perfected, and unbothered. That’s not what’s going on here. Dannie gave you Intensity and kind of a cutting edge creativity, this isn’t gong on at the moment. Gabby did not serve for me most of last year, her final game she slayed me, but that’s about it... but NOW!!! She’s one of the best people on the team this year to me and that’s a lot for me to say. She also in my opinion has the strongest count selection off all the modern captains, her mind is sorta next level. That also is not happening here. And that’s all. There’s nothing of note that’s being brought and it’s been a minute into the season. They gotta stop playing around with they Captains.
