    I usually make tsukudani when I make miso soup. I use kelp and bonito flakes from my homemade dashi soup for the miso soup.

    kelp (soak in water and simmered)
    bonito flakes (soak in hot water)
    1 1/2 TBS soy sauce
    1 TBS Mirin
    1 TSP brown sugar
    sesame seeds
