Yes. That was SuA rapping lol. She was once the lead rapper in the group but gave up that position to focus more on vocals. And that was Siyeon's lovely voice in the other part you were asking about. Another way to help you recognize who's singing is to watch the live performances. Their live stages never disappoint :)

IMO.... _"Good Night"_ is one of my all time favourite "classic" Dreamcatcher songs from their Nightmare series. As a small aside, there is a fantastic cover of the song by a K-rock band called Rolling Quartz that might be worth checking out. Especially since I think it's really rare that we get to see Dreamcatcher get covered by another group.

If you hear a high note, you can safely assume its siyeon, but sometimes it can be yoohyeon too. It also was in fact, sua rapping, with dami getting the part right after hers. Sua doesnt rap often off the top of my head this song and BEcause are maybe the only 2 that she does. If you ever get around to watching the special clips you can also hear sua rap in their covers of really really and switch to me. All of them are multi talented girls, where the main dancer (SuA) can sing as well as rap, the main singer (Siyeon) can rap as well as dance, the main rapper (Dami) can sing and dance, lead vocalist (Yoohyeon) is an awesome dancer, leader (JiU) is an amazing visual, dancer and vocalist, Handong who was quiet and shy, and came back from China with renewed confidence and as an equal with much improved vocals, and the maknae (Gahyeon) is lead rapper who can sing equally well and dance apart from having fantastic expressions.

That BIG vocal belt where you had to pause was Siyeon, their Main Vocalist (go figure). She seriously is one of the heavyweight vocalists of K-Pop. I would be scared to put all of the Main Vocalists from all the Girl Groups together. Siyeon has to be close to the top of that pile. Wendy of Red Velvet would be in there, too (she is friends with SuA). Yes, SuA is a Rapper. She does not rap often anymore but when she does, it's DARK. She's awesome. Dami has always been the Main Rapper of DreamCatcher but SuA was the Main Rapper when they were Minx. SuA took a very long break from rapping to work on her vocal skills, plus she is the Main Dancer of DC and she choreographs some stuff, so she has been BUSY. Dami was the maknae and a rapper of Minx...it kind of seems weird that she was the maknae because of her personality now, but that is how things went. I wonder if she ever misses that position? She is still lumped in with 'the maknae line' of DC but Gahyeon is the actual maknae.
Oh, yes, and the next song, Fly High', is actually the 'prequel' for the storyline arc. Don't worry,. you did not mess up the order, it is fine. We come into the story part-way for the first two videos and THEN get the prequel. It's fine that way, that is actually the chronological order of release. Don't worry about being confused because EVERYBODY was confused (including the girls). And No, that is NOT the end of the Nightmare arc. There are at least six songs and some say it is SEVEN songs because of a certain Japanese release, said to be the 'true' ending to the Nightmare arc. You two are doing GREAT! Fly high is actually the prequel to Chase me, shows how they become "nightmares". The Nightmare series still continues after Fly high (You and I, What and then PIRI is the last part, Breaking out can be considered as a alternative ending) although the storyline won't be as connected as the first three MV.

SuA rapping in Good Night is the last we get of Rapper SuA until part of BEcause I think, Oh My cover by Yoohyeon, SuA and Siyeon, No Dot and the JiU and SuA Switch to me Cover. SuA stopped rapping and focused more on vocals because she did not like her rap style. So basically Rapper SuA is Minx, Chase Me, Good Night and a handful of other times. Such a fun reaction. I'm always happy to see people start at the beginning of the Nightmare arc. When you hit the end of it, I have a suggestion for you. I had found a really in depth video explaining the whole arc. The only drawback to the video is the robot voice....But they had done SO much research that I didn't know existed. Sua stopped rapping after Good Night because she developed vocal chord nodules and decided to focus on singing. Fly High is next, but it's a prequel to Chase Me. It shows the girls before they became Nightmare Spirits and how that happened. It'll be very confusing if you don't know that.

I clicked so fast when I saw the notification, I am so glad that you guys finally reacted to this they went OFF on this song personally though that isn't my favorite from them but HOLY COW you should check out the Dance Practice/Performance because THAT INTRO IS EVERYTHING and not to mention how catchy it is! I also just want to say Siyeon and Yoohyeon's vocals went CRAZY on this song, Kess' reaction to JiU at 3:46 why is that me, I also want to say SuA and Dami's rap especially SuA's this time they ate that up like WOW, and sadly Handong and Gahyeon didn't get much lines but they still killed it with the looks and the Vocals! Also I commented this in your Chase Me reaction but this is actually the "last" part of the series it technically goes Fly High, Chase Me, then Goodnight (and You and I is kind of part of the series as well) also yes they did trap him in the mirror! If you hear a high note, you can safely assume its siyeon, but sometimes it can be yoohyeon too. It also was in fact, sua rapping, with dami getting the part right after hers. Sua doesnt rap often off the top of my head this song and BEcause are maybe the only 2 that she does. If you ever get around to watching the special clips you can also hear sua rap in their covers of really really and switch to me. Speaking of special clips, it might be awhile before we get there but i cant wait until you go through all the special clips for their solos, youre gonna love them all

Well that's Dreamcatcher for you. All of them are multi talented girls, where the main dancer (SuA) can sing as well as rap, the main singer (Siyeon) can rap as well as dance, the main rapper (Dami) can sing and dance, lead vocalist (Yoohyeon) is an awesome dancer, leader (JiU) is an amazing visual, dancer and vocalist, Handong who was quiet and shy, and came back from China with renewed confidence and as an equal with much improved vocals, and the maknae (Gahyeon) is lead rapper who can sing equally well and dance apart from having fantastic expressions.

That BIG vocal belt where you had to pause was Siyeon, their Main Vocalist (go figure). She seriously is one of the heavyweight vocalists of K-Pop. I would be scared to put all of the Main Vocalists from all the Girl Groups together. Siyeon has to be close to the top of that pile. Wendy of Red Velvet would be in there, too (she is friends with SuA).
Yes, SuA is a Rapper. She does not rap often anymore but when she does, it's DARK. She's awesome.
Dami has always been the Main Rapper of DreamCatcher but SuA was the Main Rapper when they were Minx. SuA took a very long break from rapping to work on her vocal skills, plus she is the Main Dancer of DC and she choreographs some stuff, so she has been BUSY.
Dami was the maknae and a rapper of Minx...it kind of seems weird that she was the maknae because of her personality now, but that is how things went. I wonder if she ever misses that position? She is still lumped in with 'the maknae line' of DC but Gahyeon is the actual maknae.
Oh, yes, and the next song, Fly High', is actually the 'prequel' for the storyline arc. Don't worry,. you did not mess up the order, it is fine. We come into the story part-way for the first two videos and THEN get the prequel. It's fine that way, that is actually the chronological order of release. Don't worry about being confused because EVERYBODY was confused (including the girls).
And No, that is NOT the end of the Nightmare arc. There are at least six songs and some say it is SEVEN songs because of a certain Japanese release, said to be the 'true' ending to the Nightmare arc.

Fly high is actually the prequel to Chase me, shows how they become "nightmares". The Nightmare series still continues after Fly high (You and I, What and then PIRI is the last part, Breaking out can be considered as a alternative ending) although the storyline won't be as connected as the first three MV.

SuA rapping in Good Night is the last we get of Rapper SuA until part of BEcause I think, Oh My cover by Yoohyeon, SuA and Siyeon, No Dot and the JiU and SuA Switch to me Cover. SuA stopped rapping and focused more on vocals because she did not like her rap style. So basically Rapper SuA is Minx, Chase Me, Good Night and a handful of other times. They started training Gahyeon to rap at some point. Definitely check out their dance practices. SuA rapped first and then Dami can in with a smaller part. The high note- Siyeon. Siyeon does most of the high notes, Yoohyeon does some also and recently SuA has gotten to do some high notes. sua an all rounder, thst was her rap and she used to be lead rapper. main dancer queen and although just vocalist position she has proven she can sing one siyeons best high notes in boca and honestly if not for siyeon just being leagues above everyone ever is main vocal material

Such a fun reaction. I'm always happy to see people start at the beginning of the Nightmare arc. When you hit the end of it, I have a suggestion for you. I had found a really in depth video explaining the whole arc. The only drawback to the video is the robot voice....But they had done SO much research that I didn't know existed. They actually have a very interesting take on the whole arc. It's worth the watch. But I don't want you to watch it till you reach the end at either Piri, or Breaking Out. I will leave the link here.
