  • Like Sakura, tulips are an annual feature at Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome. This year’s tulip exhibition, however, takes on a different identity. Instead of celebrating Dutch culture and architecture, Tulipmania: Origins of the Tulip 2023 is all about Türkiye and Turkish beauty. Because tulips were first cultivated by the Ottomans in East Türkiye.
It’s a different exhibition, full of exotic corners that are picture-perfect. There are also the miniatures of Galata Tower and the famous Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, and the hot-air balloons floating over everywhere. All are perfect backdrops for the colourful tulips blooming everywhere.
Ongoing till May 21, 2023. Admission charges to the Flower Dome apply. The Flower Dome is open from 9 am to 9 pm, with last entry at 8.30 pm.

CORRECTION: I made an embarrassing mistake! The miniature at 02:25 is The Library of Celsus, NOT the Temple of Artemis. (The latter, oh gosh, is completely gone, I forgot)
