  • On this episode of ELTV, we were honored to have Nancy Heche, the mother of Actress, Anne Heche. Nancy shares about how her dream to have the perfect family turned upside down, but lifted her up to higher ground as she chose to trust God in the midst of the storms. She shares about her new book Nancy Heche, The truth comes out! When Nancy wrote this book, her daughter Anne was in a same sex relationship.
Nancy Heche has now outlived four of her five children - in addition to her secretly gay husband, Donald, who died of AIDS in 1983. She admitted in her religion-heavy 2006 memoir, “The Truth Comes Out: When Someone You Love is in a Same-Sex Relationship,” to using amyl nitrate poppers with Donald to improve their sex life and taking married lovers.
Anne died Friday, one week after she drove her blue Mini Cooper at a high speed down an LA street and plowed into a small house, setting it afire along with her car.
Before Anne was born, her sister Cynthia, then just 2 months old, died from a heart defect. Anne’s 18-year-old brother Nathan died in a car accident three months after Don Heche’s death. Another sister, Susan Bergman, who wrote her own family memoir called “Anonymity,” died in 2006 from brain cancer.

It's a shame this woman couldn't learn to love & support her youngest daughter the way she loves & supports her congregation. She betrayed Anne & will never know the gift she was given, that instead the rest of the world got to have instead. Our luck!!!!!!!!!! Talking about love & respect for the individual??? She's two-faced!

Coming from a pastor's home, I can vouch for how Christianity has harmed me. I'm just learning this now in my late 40's, early 50's. This was a hard lesson for me. I chringed having to listen to this. Jesus loved everybody, so if we want to be more like Jesus, should we perhaps 'NOT' be judging others for what we think their sins are?! I just can't stay quiet anymore, about how much damage religion did to me growing up. And, now that I am not fitting into the cookie cutter christian girl image that is expected of me, I'm the black sheep of the family 🙄. What happened to my Shepherd/s?? I feel like we have too many Gods in the christian community who are busy judging when they should be busy accepting & loving ❤❤❤❤

So sad that she put her "faith" before her daughter.
    God loves everyone!
Something happened in Annes childhood that has lead to her tragic story. And her mother needs to take some responsibility about Annes childhood. She was a tortured woman. And her family never listened to her!

One puts God first. That's not wrong but in the cosmos.

Cold, compassionless woman. No thought of anyone else's feelings. It all "happened to her."

This was wonderful interview. So much love I could learn from reading these scriptures she has memorized. I have truly felt the same way she explains how she has felt. If I forgive my husband for his wandering eyes, I feel that I am telling him it's alright. I'm not saying that at all, I am just letting Yashua deal with him. I am actually getting some peace in my life from looking at it through a different lens. I am thankful for you sharing this interview. Yahweh bless you and Nancy Heche:)

Incredible testimony. I was impressed with her reconciliation & growth around initially repelling homosexuals to loving them as God does.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full". John 10:10 Yeshua of Nazareth... if only this family had heeded these words.

Why did God give Humanity same sex attraction? There is NO devil therefore perhaps Homosexuality is OK. Just love your neighbor and live in love says the bible and yet she had ALL THIS SHAME? GIVE ME A BREAK!! Religion is an excuse to evade responsibility for your actions.
