- Un recuerdo del tercera base mexicano Aurelio Rodríguez Ituarte, originario de Cananea, Sonora, quien jugó en Grandes Ligas durante los años 70's principalmente. Este video corresponde al cuarto juego de la Serie Mundial de 1981 de NY contra LA.
Recuerdo cuando Aurelio Rodríguez regresó a la liga mexicana de béisbol con los Tigres Capitalinos en el parque del seguro social para enfrentar a los Diablos Rojos del México, y en su primer turno al bat dio un hit doble que rebotó en la barda, casi cuadrangular. Yo de niño muy emocionado . Que gran recuerdo. Y sí, me dolió su partida. Que Dios lo tenga en su santa gloria.

I saw that spinning Aurelio strikeout swing (10:38) plenty of times, on Tigers broadcasts in my youth.

I remember Aurelio when he as an Angel in late 60's when I was a young Angel and Dodger Fan in Southern California. A fine ball player. What a shame he lost his life in such a tragic unfortunate way. RIP Aurelio, thank you for your time in MLB and with the Angles.
Me parece increíble y muy dolorosa la forma en que murió el gran antesalista Aurelio Rodríguez; tan solo en una innecesaria visita que hizo al estadio de los Tigres de Detroit y haberse puesto en el camino de una conductora desgraciada que se infartó solo para matarlo. Buscó su destino y su muerte!

As a Tigers fan, I enjoyed watching Norm Cash's glove explode in a cloud of dust when Rodriguez had to put a little extra on his throw across the diamond. What a fielder, with his "Black Hand" glove!
