Nice first comment!!! So happy to hear from them, interviews, live performance, its all new and exciting. Sons of the Stage sounded mega live, and Liam sounds the best he has sounded in years. Its all good!!
Fantastic interview, great to hear from Andy, Gem and new bassist Jeff Wooton. Chris Sharrock is a BEAST on the drums.
Zane Lowe, what a dick, how could you possibly question Gem Archer's guitar playing! "That wasn't even in D" haha, loving it.
Holy shit, Sons of the Stage live!!! :
THEY WERE DOING THE LA'S. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.
These guys sound so much more alive without Noel lookin over their shoulder... I am talking about Gem and Andy, they are so much more talkative now and jokey
I find it funny tht Beady Eye is nominated for best new band in the NME they are sooo amazing
Good luck to these boys, they rock.
Yerz sound sick tight yo !! wicked, luvin it !!_!
Zane Lowes a GORGER!!
He's baaaack
Sharrock is amazing
@TrIsThEbOmB7 And my guess is that there are two new main factors that makes Liam's voice sound better. First: Beady Eye is his project, first time without Noel, so he tries harder and has something to prove. Maybe he even started to care how he sounds for the first time in his life. Second: BDI's songs are made for 40 years old Liam and not the one that was singing for Oasis so they fit his current voice better. And I like this band more than I thought I would.
Gem finds ways to play chords that i can never understand!
@TrIsThEbOmB7 I don't think he got voice surgery, there would be all sorts of tabloid coverage of something like that.
@generalcustard1 Big Liam fan I may be, the more logical guess is that Liam lost his voice in 2008, 2009 ish, had voice surgery and is back on top again. still he was a phenomenal singer from 1994 to 2007. But hes back and better then ever
@Kozaack well, if you listen to Beady Eye live, I disagree with ur second point. The songs clearly make Liam go all whiney after a few gigs. Just like Oasis. As for the first point, well that's wrong too tbh. How is goes is Liam's voice starts ok/good at the start of a tour and gets gradually worn down. This was the case on the last Oasis tour and is the same with Beady Eye. Liam should stick to studio singing and just make lots of records instead of touring and messing his voice up.
Can you get the live Sons Of The Stage a seperate video? :)
@TrIsThEbOmB7 He no longer needs to shout.
beatles
Shit this band might actually be good
