wow awesome mustangs on display … I love the big block stangs & the CS ...I only got a little 289 Winsor 4 v block in this 66... only mod in mine is after market tacho & a set of headers ...stock down to the goodyear pollyglass
John, One of the coolest things about the Mustang brand in general is the sheer wide variety of options and configurations. Almost limitless and hence the "one of one" scenarios for some of these mass produced cars. Be safe and be Well.
George, These wheels seemed to have been the FoMoCo staple performance wheel for 68-9 both in argent painted and full chrome. They were also a popular retrofit and look great on early Comets and Falcons too. Have a great weekend!
awesome cars rust free California cars boy to live there even now these cars look like they just came out of the showroom glad I found your website awesome no baloney just the facts
All these should be 427 4 barrel and all were 4 speed transmissions. If you see one with a 390? It's a clone I'd a made up fake. FORD motor Archives buldsheets document all were 427 cranking out re h.p. 433 & 540 ft lbs toque
?????????????? Ford never built a factory 427 Mustang....EVER. All High Country and California Specials could be ordered with any engine combination including 6 cylinders. Ford never had a production 427 Mustang.
That's one of the most beautiful cars of all time
That R code is killer, what a special car when new and more so now. Thanks Rich
You never see Cobra Jet Cal Specials this thing is rare, rare, rare.

Man, talk about rare. I've never even HEARD-OF a GT/CS R-code. More rare than a 1969 CJ ragtop.

I'm always intrigued with your knowledge of mustangs. Great detail to videos Rich. Always learning something when I watch your videos.
Thanks Billy, I hope I can keep them entertaining.
The R code Cal Special was restored by a guy in a little shop in Lehi Utah
They did a heck of a job, that was\is a nice car.
My favorite Ford Mustang is the notchback and grande models because they are more affordable than the fastback Mustangs
Bet you haven't seen a high country with a center console, guy in Pennsylvania has a red one with the only center console in it
Anyone know where the owner is now?

MustangConnection1 Well, they had 1 Factory 67’ 427 GT500 but yeah, I have no idea what this guy is rambling about.
And yes they did do a few with 390's. 150 or so of them
I have one with a 390 and owned it for 40 years!
