Don't feel guilty about reading during daylight hours, it's a lot better for your eyes! 🌞

I love this video idea! Since this isn't something you can do frequently, maybe you could time yourself reading for 24 hours across multiple days to see how much you can read in that time. I've seen quite a few different booktubers do this recently, and I really enjoy watching those videos.

DONT feel guilty this was much needed and just as productive as what else your doing this is very helpful and self care is just as important as working without self care you can’t work so never feel guilty for doing things for you 💕💕

I loved this, I also struggle with some of these feels. My biggest one being that if I'm doing something OTHER THAN reading or working, like watching a movie or socialising, I feel guilty, because It feels like time wasted. Which we all know is BS, but I can't stop the thoughts 🙈 would love to see another one of these for sure ❤️

Loved the blog. I find myself wishing I could read all day, but when I have the opportunity, I don't take advantage of it. Then I feel a little pressure to read before going to bed.

Please do another video with this concept. Really enjoyed this concept and I love your long videos. We’ll all your videos but especially the long ones as it helps my mental health funny enough.

I’m glad to see you liked the Aurora Cycle! I started reading the first book but put it down. I just wasn’t in the right mindset for it after I finished a couple other series. I’ll pick it back up soon 🥰

This is a brilliant idea. If I spent even half of my normal work hours just reading, I think I'd read way more 😂 I hope you do another vlog like this in the future!

I completely understand the whole "If I wake up at 10am, I feel like I'vde wasted the day", even on my days off I have alarms for 6 and 7am 🤡
For laundry, why not just put the laundry on and you know you have 40mins - 1hr of reading before you need to take the laundry out? That's what I do. Kinda like a timer.

I'd say leave your phone in another room while reading or have a bath with a book & let your phone charge fully etc.

The discussion about historical romance is why I have a really hard time reading romance novels written before about 2010 - I find that after 2010 there's a lot better consent! But yeah I also really didn't like The Duke and I (but I do love historical romance! I'd recommend Cat Sebastian or Courtney Milan!).

Hammy! 😍😍😍 Ooo! These bookmarks are so pretty! 😍😍😍 Yes, I love the Questing one! This was a fun vloggy! I wish I could try doing this kind of experiment. I wonder how much I would get read. This vlog made me want to pick up Aurora Rising again. I never read Illuminae either. At some point I will. Yeah, I want to hear your thoughts on Dark Matter. I was just talking about that book yesterday. I want to start reading his books but I might start with Recursion. Reckless Girls…I wish I could have stopped you from picking that up because I don’t think you will like it. I’m interested to see how you feel though. I do want to read The Hacienda. Well, I love you, my dear! 🥰🥰🥰 Happy Saturday! 🥳🥳🥳 Happy Reading! 🤓📚✨

Our reading habits r so different!! 🤣 but I’m a stay at home mom so I do UA-cam and Instagram and reading whenever I can fit it in, whenever I feel like doing it, in between taking care of the kids, and during the weekend as well. Also my kids wake up at 6:30 n I need my sleep so I’m usually lights out by around 10pm

I loved this idea so much! I have trouble getting up in the morning and going with what i need to do and Then in the evening i get so distracted by youtube or social media with twitter and discord so i just think i might need to do this idea as well to try and get more of my reading done i have been averaging 100 pages a day and that is not working! 💜💜💜💜

Haha for a second i was like 'how much tea does she put in a cup👀' before realising you were refilling a container 🤪 I think the page count is significant considering you only had certain hours within the day. For me I would definitely lose some reading time there because I just don't have the mental energy to focus for such a long time

The Viscount Who Loves me is so different from the first one and the series doesn’t do the book justice. They changed so much so it’s not even the same story. The third one is basically a Cinderella story. I haven’t read the fourth one yet though.

I read all of the bridgerton books a few years ago, and I absolutely hate and despise the first one, I don't like daphne, I don't like simon, I feel like they don't have chemistry and it kind of feels forced in the book. it's only saving grace for me was the fact that we get to learn more about the family, I loved the family scenes in it!
the viscount who loved me is one of my favorite books ever, I find it hilarious and just SO good! it's most peoples' favorite in the serie! I hated the second season of the tv show because they got all of the things that makes the second book so good and destroyed them. literally. it amazed me how they were able to get an iconic scene in the book and turn it into something it wasn't. you definitely should give it a chance! I love their story in the book so much! they have such chemistry (it's so sad because the actores tried to ask for more similarities and were ignored) and are hilarious, the enemies to lovers in it is actually done well

I ended up dnf'ing The Blood Trials at the 47% mark because I couldn't take the main character jumping to so many illogical conclusions. And it read like YA. When I've mentioned this before people have commented by saying that it contains a lot of violence, mature language and sex. But that doesn't change the feel of the book for me. It feels YA because it has so many YA tropes (enemies to lovers, insta-love, irrational actions by a female heroine and teen-like angst). I knew I needed to put this book down when I started annotating the book and angrily telling the MC that was she was doing was making no sense based on the available information.
I also DNF'd the first Bridgerton book because I hated the way Daphne ignored the Duke's feelings on having children. And I occasionally enjoy historical romance so it wasn't the genre.

The Duke and I was the most infuriating "romance" I've ever read. I think 2 stars is generous 😂 I have a lot of the same problems as you with historical romance though, it's just weird to read about women who are that clueless and it happens in I think nearly every one I've ever read to the point I've stopped reading them mostly.

There was ‘that’ one sex scene that completely put me off. After that, I almost didn’t finish. I think I gave The Duke and I 2 stars as well, needless to say I won’t be continuing!

The Duke and I is actually one of the weakest in the series. I have read them all and I think I gave it 3 stars. The TV show did an amazing job with it in my opinion. They continue to be fairly typical historicals though so might not be your cup of tea
