Great Song!! Can you imagine the talent in their household as little boys😃. I hear the young ladies singing in the background but I’m pretty sure I hear EDDIE in the background as well. You did a fantastic job with this! Thank you👏🏾👏🏾
Jimmy seems like the unsung hero Motown had on the artist roster. The talented, solid performer who could bring life to the right song. My Motown collection with never be completed until I get more Jimmy Ruffin in it. Oh, and by the way Mr. J, we visit your channel often to enjoy the classic tunes and appreciate you bringing new life to them by giving them your extended versions, thank you !
Derek Dauchan Jimmy Ruffin was one of my first vinyl purchases. He touched my heart with What Becomes of the Broken-hearted His voice is soulful & velvet Thankyou for the stretch. KTF
What a grand surprise! Love everything he did, including, "It's Wonderful To Be Loved By You", which is my favorite. Thank you, John, for sound perfection and memories.
Jimmy was not in David's shadow He was a very Successful Singer with a very wonderful voice. He was a very big success in the UK for northern soul and other record labels He several great Hits Including What becomes of the Broken Hearted💔 And Hold On To My Love❤ he made a lot of appearances all over the world for years. He released his last song called One In a Million in 2014 he became gravely ill and was sent to the hospital a few days later he died and was Buried in Las Vegas His Children Phylicia and Jimmy Ruffin Jr reported their father's death to the news. Ruffin will surely be missed by his many Fans. And he will never be forgotten.

I'm pretty sure that's Eddie Kendricks too. Good spot! And a gorgeous track, of course.
Definitely sounds like Eddie.
Jimmy is so smooth, this song should’ve been a monster hit
Have a listen to The Velvelettes version. Equally as good. Great tune!
Russ Bates - i did and know about it, so is gladys knight’s version. They all sound good
Norman Whitfield put it on The Temptations 5 years later. Dennis Edwards at lead on this tune was a winner.
MrDarkElement - i remember that, but it was just ok for me. Jimmy nailed this song though

The Elgins (Darling Baby and "Heaven Must Have Sent You) do background vocals, not the Andantes!
