Would you recommend to go with this Subwoofer avoiding other subs of brands like Rockford fosgate, JBL, skar audio, Sundown audio, focal, morel, etc in this price range. I prefer strong deep bass with good sound quality (no distortion).
JBL Club 1224 's are nice and not too much money. if you can find one of these pioneer's grab it, but their newer ones aren't as good. low sensitivity , low xmax , high freeair resonance, etc etc
If u want quality for cheap buy an rockford r2d2 those move and sound way better than his set up n doesnt even need a big box as that to rattle the doors.
@@angelvasquez4697 fosgate amps are ok, wouldn't mess with their woofers they have low output compared to some other brands. maybe check out some orion xtr's
@@Aakashh_Sharma 3002 had same signature tonal performance. These pro subs are made considering low end bass so these subs play well in lows. 3002 was definitely built stronger than current 3003 but for 600w rms 3003 is way more efficient!

Sup, I'm not sure if you still check this thread. I have the same sub running on an 800wrms rms 2ohm configuration. Boxs is tuned at "37 hz" playing the sub couple of days now, but one can smell it. Amp is not turned up very high, and sub feels cold. My previous subs played much hotter with no smell. While breaking the sub in, did it ever give off some smell?

Umm that's tight budget. I'll recommend you to go for home audio active subwoofer like pop pioneer, polk audio. You'll get good output with less mess. If you want amplifier the starting of good Pro amp is 20k and you'll need to invest seperately on subs.

I don't wanna bottom out the sub. I have habit to use my equipment carefully. Amp has very good tonal performance and is way underrated. So it's perfect match for sub.

Yes definitely. Especially if you are saving a lot of money over expensive brands like sundown audio, morel. Jbl, skar are cheaper than Pioneer!

1.75 cubic feet you'll get for sub from standard viper audio enclosure. I'll recommend you to go for bigger one.

Something around 30hr should be fine. Use it carefully on low volume at least for a month.

Yes even mine used to give some smell on long usage. You're overpowering so you may end up blowing the sub. Keep it below 600w rms.
Sounds like your sub might be getting over heated be careful..could be meeting it's maker soon.

Mines doing the same... Even with proper clean power..its about 2 weeks old..not sure why it smells..about to change back to skar
