I am happy to hear that you were able to do all of these exercises without pain. Spinal Stenosis can be challenging when it comes to strengthening back muscles...but there are ways that it can be done and stronger muscles will help with pain and discomfort! My kitties are super playful and love to join in our workouts :)

I thought bending wasn’t recommended for people with osteoporosis. So exercises like cat cow are safe after all? And bending is ok?

No, not all bending is safe for osteoporosis. Cow position is safe. Cat can be okay if your physiotherapist feels that you can do it and it is performed slowly.

Great workout! I know you’re not a physician but, when I do the workout at about 11:00 minutes, my hips seem to make a popping noise. It does not hurt and I assume it’s because I’m a female who has had a baby so our hips are already naturally more turned out. Do you know if yourself or others watching have had similar issues?
Idea for next video: maybe something showing correct stances and posture when working out. I know people can get hurt if they are working out and are not in the right stance. I have also heard and experienced not doing the stance right and not getting the correct results from it. I have seen my most an easy area is my feet. I don’t know when toes are suppose to be at an angle or my feet tend to try to balance on the outer area instead of in the middle. I know this seems more of a personal trainer type of issue but if I knew just basic techniques like for a proper squat, where you are and are not suppose to feel it, I would be able to build on from there.

Hi, sorry to butt in, but Lara has a video series called Lower Body Weighted Workout and it is done with dumbbells and it has 3 levels, in the first video she explains the correct stance/position for squat, deadlift and so on. It is worth checking out.

Hi there. Often times our joints can make popping noises. Since you mentioned that it doesn't hurt I wouldn't be overly concerned...however if you are worried about it then I would mention it to your doctor.
Great idea for upcoming videos. I could try making a series of short videos explaining technique for specific exercises if that sounds like some thing that would be beneficial?! Let me know.

Hi is pelvic tilt safe to do for people with osteoporosis in the spine why I ask is because people with osteoporosis is not supposed to do flexion in the spine but when we're doing the pelvic tilt exercise that is some kind of flexion in the spine..

I have osteoporosis of the spine and my physiotherapist encouraged me to do this exercise...however you may want to ask your doctor for advice on where your osteoporosis is located in the spine and if this puts you at risk of fracture.

I have some disfigured(?) vertebraes on my lumbar spine - juvenile osteochondrosis- so it can cause serious back pain and tightness. When I worked with children, I managed to throw my back out a few times where I couln't get up for a day or two or walked funny. It was not great. Now that I work in an office, my upper back and shoulders hurt more because of all the sitting :D It's never a win-win with back problems and pains

Our backs are so fickle and they are often very weak in comparison to other muscle groups in our bodies! Taking the time to strengthen the back and the core will help to prevent injury which can cause further pain. In your specific case, with your history, it is imperative that you try to keep normal function and mobility in your back...easier said then done though, right?! Sitting puts a lot of strain on our backs and yet most of our careers require it. Like you said...never a win-win!
