- I tried a lot of different cosmetics, and I got a really cool outfit which makes me look like a superhero. Also, I made a cool new friend - who I think might be a veteran.

To do the 'follow a friend' quest, you tap on your friend or their name and a symbol of a little person appear over their head (you can see in this video when the friend menu opens), you have to press that.
Yeah the freebies looks better. I think TGC is being generous since it's the start of the year haha

I'd personally say black cape suits a lot of outfits, though it costs 50 hearts (I suffered). If you would like to meet papa krill, you can try the season of abyss missions. It might traumatize you but maybe it could be a future content haha

the candle cakes you expected to see in vault are temporary wax boosts that switch realms every day, you can find out which realm is candle boosted by looking for the portal with two red candles on either side of it at home

Hello kk! I hope you've been doing amazing too. As always I'll share some comments related to the video.
That spirit you talked about in the aviary is the Pointing Candlemaker, he's using that orange wax to make candles! Very hardworking. But your hypotheses were funny.
Regarding the differences in colour palettes, I do agree that the aviary looks better than the regular home, specially at night, it's just so vivid and the dark blue blends very well with all the illumination of the aviary.
Congratulations on getting a new outfit and saving one spirit. It does look good on you. Also you flexing on the deer lady, as you call it, and everyone else was so funny, I really liked the many nicknames you had for your skykid's muscles.
Also if you'd want that cape, the one that's like a scarf. Make sure you check the hunter spirit tree, it's in the deer constellation, to keep collecting those candles and checking what do you need to unlock first before you can get to the cape itself, it's mandatory to buy with your seasonal candles the items that are before in that tree so you can access higher items. Hopefully you can get it soon then you'll be a cooler butterfly haha.
I was screaming internally when you said you weren't going to check the castle, you probably know by now that that's where the other spirits are. Of course it's your gameplay, your rules, so no pressure, but I wanted to share my reaction: I was like " But why kk?! Aaaaa- that's where the other spirits are *deep sigh* " 😅
The question you had later in the video about the spirit missing what happened is that someone was doing the spirit mission too but it came a little before you, and they had to activate the spirit so it would fly out of its standby position. They come back after the memory is relieved. Speaking of which, the "relive a spirit's memory" quest requires you to do the task of going around the spirit's path, light the spirit's body, and watch the cutscene in which you're giving its expression. After that the quest will be marked as complete.
Finally, some people like to unlock the chat with friends they've met just because so they do what lalaine did. Of course it's normal to be wary but if they're being genuinely caring I don't think that's bad.

Yeah the home space looks so bland in the morning, but the aviary village looks good at every time of the day. Each phase of the day gives the aviary village a unique look and feel.
I did enjoy the flex. Actually I made a video about flexing on other people haha cause I really liked that emote.
I think somebody might've mentioned about the other spirits being inside the candle but I forgot about it while I was playing. Also the reason why I didn't go to the castle is because the purpose of this video was to try out different outfits and I didn't want to spend too much time finding spirits (except the hunter spirit who gives you the new outfit)
I was just surprised to see why they would wanna unlock chat so quickly. That too with a person that they've just met. But like you said, it's fine in this case. I think lalaine is pretty cool.

I've been grinding a lot in game but I still got moments where I just stop and chill in a realm and sometimes imagining being there myself
Sky's such a pretty game and I just imagine myself being in the world, sleeping peacefully and flying around without a care in the world

That sounds very cosy, and yeah even I've imagined how it would feel to be in a realm in sky (except eden and golden wastelands haha)
But I think we have places like that in real life as well. Isle and Valley is like a dessert. Prairie is a prairie and the Hidden Forest is maybe a rainforest. Maybe these places might not be as pretty, but still.

The candle cakes are gone today because it’s not the extra candle day for Vault. The permanent candle cakes are on levels 2, 4, and the summit.

It’s easier to do the follow a friend quest when you are far away from the friend in the same area. The arrow button comes up easier, often after the eye button to fully look in the friend’s direction. It’s a bit weird lol.

Just saying, you didnt finish the follow a friend quest. To do that you have to press on the eye above ur friend when you call. Then the arrow or follow button will appear that drags you towards them. If you tap that you will get the quest

Swimming is an ability that was added through a season, so I thought you had to do that season to unlock it but maybe it is not needed.
