SnS has so much Empower - are you sure, Elemental Band is worth it?! Are you not over the Empower Cap most of the time? Would be good to see the whole build in a nw-buddy build.
Love the vid schmeck. Have you tested out accel resolve for the raid? The weaken from shield rush is nice but accel resolve with the shield node in skill tree gives solid dmg for a bit of time. I've been trying it in dungeons wanted your take.
My guess is it would result in a net dps loss over time. I am using shield rush specifically because it has been requested I do so for our Sandwurm runs. While I think it is probably a damage loss, there are times where you could weave Resolve into your playstyle to improve your damage over time. If we think about Echidna for example, (the first boss of Hive), there are a ton of knockback and stagger mechanics that force you to either dodge or grit through them to min max your uptime on dps. So instead of wasting time dodging, you may as well Resolve for the free grit and +20% base damage. I have 2 additional comments. First is, we can't really test this anymore, so I can't say for certain if it is worth it to resolve off CD just for damage increase. It very well could be, but unsure. We also need to think in terms of the raid (more light attack chains is more uptime on 15% rend via Achilles Heal, other debuffs are extended via One with Shield) as well. Second is, I could MAYBE use resolve to grit through Worm Melee attacks so then I don't have to dodge or block them, and I get free damage increase. I haven't tested this yet though haha, and unless it worked 100% of the time, I probs wouldn't commit to it

how do you do so much damage?, i am trying to make it with my company, but even having all coating, and stones, and trophies, we just don't do the damage, looks reduced, is there a mechanic we are missing? also we are all over 700GS, i don't know, if you know any hidden secret could you help with an answer please. after spending 39 hours with pugs and some good groups never managed to do worm since the gs changes from 625 to 725 but looking at your stamina bar u never once got the bite/block attack how is that possible ? the worm does Bite/block attack atleast 3 times before scorpions appear.........
How does this feel with the threat changes for SnS, do you find yourself pulling randomly? Think you said you can't pick up neph sword because you'll pull threat. Especially shield rush having doubled it's threat generation, are you not losing a lot of DPS compared to something that can just pick the buff up? :P Like the cook though, fun time
On worm, it shouldn't matter. I trust the tank to get aggro in the beginning and be able to hold it. The scorpions are a different matter. Tbh, I don't think our offtank strat is optimal as the offtank regularly loses aggro. You'll even see ranged dps pulling aggro sometimes. It doesn't end up being that big of a deal if I have to hold back a bit on scorps imo, but maybe if I bring it to the raid leads attention they'll make changes. Yeah your head is in the right spot. I'm only using GS for the Heavy Attacks during the stay break phase, so that we break stem as fast as possible. I generally think SwSh wants to stay on their main weapon the majority of the fight. But swapping to BB for quick nades is really good because of the burn dots -> these dots are where the real value comes from. With the right raid comp, these Burn dots can last for a very long time, even indefinitely if all the right conditions are met. But to answer your question in terms of single target DPS, your offhand is best for either DoTs or quick burst damage, and your mainhand is what you'll camp for 98% of the fight

I think there are more than one pros with the hat, at first 45 Attributpoints so you get the 25 and 50 int Bonus for your dmg. Otherwise you had to play mid with attu pants. With the hat you can also play light so this are the mainpoints. Hopefully i can help you
You only have 2 options since Shield contributes to armor weight. If you want to stay light armor, you use either Wizards Hat or Featherweight, anything else makes you medium. Wizards Hat is an INCREDIBLY small increase in DPS. With the new update, it's probably around +1.75% more damage than featherweight. This is just because you always take 50 int no matter what (more dps than dex route gives you). Wizards Hat is 45 stat points, featherweight at 725gs is 36 stat points, so Wizards Hat is a free +9 stats. -- All this being said, you lose a lot of armor rating for an incredibly small gain in DPS. So for tougher content, I'd suggest featherweight > wizards hat

I think dropping a chest-piece is the highest DPS - go Winged Leather Shoes, with Critical Precision you will have 100% uptime on the +10% Base Damage. You currently get Base Damage from 5% + 5% (Conditional on Crit), which is going to be ever so slightly lower. All those points from Wizard's Hat contribute towards this 5% + 5%, you lose these (and all of the 45 attribute points). You lose a Gem Slot though, and the remaining 3 perks. Likely never worth it, but it is technically higher damage.
may i ask why u run 1Chitin Padding?not full?and others item all run Cut Pristine Jasper?whats that work for?if run full Cut Pristine Jasper,boss shake head if not block can defend that?
Since we are melee stam breaking the boss right now, I found that just one chitin padding helps to prolong my acid ticks, making melee stam much easier. Tbh with 8.5k hp, even with full jaspers, it is very rare I survive a melee strike attack from the worm. Strike is still helpful for the Sword Bubble Boys that come into clump, and might help me survive a worm attack if the correct weaken/fortify is up. Eventually we will stray away from any gems and most likely use all Carnelians (can't leak the tech just yet) so still messing with my gem setup to see what works best for me right now

@@flashmumu to stay light equip load with attuned pants and a shield requires you to not equip a piece of armor losing more armor/stats/perks.
You could drop hat, do attuned pants and have more stats. You lose a couple perks but could be better, might be interesting to test
Or just stay using Great sword heavy attack and have hammer as off hand. No need for shield at all

we've been trying to clear this on our fresh start. your worm isnt swiping the melee nearly as much as it is for us. are we doing something wrong?
You are seeing less attacks because they kill it in 8 minutes. The faster it dies the less chance it has to randomly use the melee swipe.
Hi, why are you using elemental band? I mean you dont deal elemental damage to get the bonus from it or whats the thing with it?
Free bis ring at 725gs, that's really it. I'm empower capped so the 'elemental empower' perk is useless for my build.
Does the band give dmg to attuned?

You should watch his long PvE guide that was pretty recent. Ranged DPS is sub optimal in this game for several reasons he explains better than I can
