Polo Industrial Surgiu juntamente com a instalação da Zona Franca de Manaus em 1967. Apesar de ser um bairro bastante antigo, possui poucos moradores devido a sua grande área ser ocupada em sua grande maioria pelas fábricas do Polo Industrial de Manaus.
