Got to see Gail perform last night for the Blackstar Orchestra concert in PDX. The standing ovation was much deserved. She blew everyone away. That voice. That mesmerizing and powerful voice. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

I saw the Reality tour and hearing them sing this together will always be my top concert highlight for the rest of my life.

So many fantastic live versions of them doing this song together, but this might be the best. They are *so* locked in together, they both look fabulous, and Bowie's obvious confidence that Gail can carry the song is just a joy to watch.
There is a lot of sorrow, maybe even some despair, in this song. But there is also a bit of hope in it (no contradicition here). The stuff of our lives. Dorsey's voice is clear, clean and crisp. And I listen.

I saw both her and David live during the heroes tour, she was impeccable and David was just amazing. The whole time he was flaunting Gail as one of the most amazing singers/musicians he had ever met, and you just knew it was all genuine. The performance just cemented it. 100's of gigs I have attended and it was the best, by far. and it wasn't even "my thing". Apparently I never knew what my thing was.

Jessica Bowie has a wonderfully unique voice but nobody in my recollection had the interactivity of Mercury. He totally fed off the crowd and they fed off him.
