I am buying a repro of a 40s 50s radio with bluetooth so collecting stuff like this to play on it, it helps me to wind down if I can go back to a calmer time
Yes,relly relaxed listening. Its great we already have the pictures in our head, of how the bank,church hall,etc look like.but with different sounds. Although, some radio episodes are different, I listen to one episode before bed. And to be honest, i always managed to drift off before the end. Prue class. Are there audio tapes, of Hi de Hi or anyone have any other, ie you rang m,lord. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. 😂
Poor old Mainwearing he never has an original idea - it’s a good job he has Sgt Wilson and Pt Walker + very often Mrs Pike to come up with the right means of dealing with problems He is a man of very little imagination and even less common sense. - great character acting !!! Well done the writers 😅
Poor old Captain Mainwearing is such a snob - he is so jealous and envious of Sgt Wilson that he does all he can to disguise his lack of intelligence and needs Sgt Wilson to not anly back him up and support him but get his idea from and put them forward as his own !!!!
I have come to assume that Cp Mainwearing is totally and absolutely jealous of St Wilson !! Although Sgt Wilson is often vague he is usually kind and understanding unlike Cpt M.
