Sr. Engineer and former Rocket Scientist here. BA seriously ticks me off. Violations of IEEE ethics and more. Even at a former company that was tight on costs, IBM allowed us to add redundant hardware that likely cost $10-$100 in Gold Copper and extra board layers to be certain communication and control systems would be maintained. That was likely why our servers were the only ones to pass a Navy bomb survival test.
This scares me so much just thinking I flew to Australia and what would you do when your hours in the sky over the ocean hope you are close enough to Hawaii or another island that has an airport
