I am in the middle of designing my own interior buildout for my Alu-Cab. Space is at the premium, but on top of that is weight! And the distribution of that weight also an important consideration. The truck still needs to drive nice and mostly level.
I too did my own design build interior, the heavy drawer units are up against the bull head and I built storage systems over the wheel wells that have a top to use for sitting and then raise up to access the storage, got it very well balanced
Many of the Alu Cab Canopy Campers shown on youtube are located in cool or cold climates. I live in a tropical region with high humidity 70-100% and temperatures 30-34 celsius. Your design caters for both hot and cold conditions and the styling is top notch with clean lines and quality materials.
Hi, we are currently based in Malaysia….. but our world drive will take from Alaska to Argentina… mixed climates from Nepal to Africa… starting Jan 2025 we will begin phase 1 .. Malaysia to UK…trying to cover a few bases…thnx for your feedback..😎
I'd love to see someone come-up with a layout/solution for reaching the fridge both from inside the camper and from outside the camper. I hate the idea of having to climb into the camper every time I wanted to grab a cold one or if I forget the butter. Putting the fridge in the truck's back seat solves that issue, but then it's inaccessible from inside the camper during inclement weather, etc.
This is why we have two… the main 75L in the camper and a small 20L powered by the trucks built in inverter in the back seat…. Absolutely necessary lmao 🤣 🤣🤣
Wow finally a wonderfully and thoroughly explained video .excellent job and very interesting. From Gary Detroit area Michigan USA.

Great to have a tour and explanation of the concept

Thanks for the video. I miss less explanations and more showing....
Great in depth video on the canopy camper, would love one of these for my Isuzu dmax, but also looking at trailers
Yes, once we have done all the ocean crossings ahead, will be looking at trailers… there are some really nice ones in Oz.😎
@@overlandtheworld those patriot trailers look the business ay, just the cost 😬
This is a fantastic description of why and how.
