@@AdvancedClutchTechnology I installed the mod twin on my evo8 with a freshly rebuilt transmission from Shep. After 800 break-in miles, first time shifting through all the gears around 6kish rpm’s, I got a real bad grind going into 5th and it wiped out my synchro. I went straight home and did all the obvious checks, clutch adjustment, clutch drag test, and everything was normal. Now I have a 5th gear grind unless I let the rpm’s drop down to 1000 rpm’s before shifting. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the transmission, or if the clutch caused it. (I remember when I installed the clutch, I lost track of the orientation of the floater plate) but everything else went fine and to torqued to spec
@@samuelvenegas2889 Usually, when a clutch is not disengaging completely, this would affect shifting into every gear. If 5th gear in the only gear grinding, we would suspect something is amiss in the transmission itself.
Thinking of getting evo then watched this lol
eh its not that bad, this video also has a few extra steps you dont have to do like removing the driveshaft and t case
Will this fit 4g94
Can the floater plate be installed upside down?
Technically there is no top side or bottom side for the floater, it can be installed either way and will function the same.
