Why do people get so butt hurt over what platforms the games are on? The more people who can play a game the better! It's a weird sense of "ownership" that always perplexed me.
I got it on PC and my sister on my PS5 version. We're grateful that we can crossplay because we don't have 2 PC. People forget that PC gamers may have siblings.
Or not everyone can buy multiple consoles so you having PC and her a PS5 works crossplay should be more normalized

Honestly, I half expect both to be the takeaway, mostly because of the negative reception most recent live service games have been receiving.
I mean, live service does work when it's done properly (look at DRG or Warframe), most games aren't build around it and are live service because... reasons...

Most PC Gamers would never buy a console even if their favorite game of all time was on it. But we would buy the Demon Souls remake or a bloodborne remastered the day it is released on Steam no questions asked
I did for Tears of the Kingdom, mostly because the special edition switch was gorgeous.
Currently it's 5th in the top 10 games on PSN in UK. If it didn't launch on PC I bet it barely makes 10th.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that the first game featured:
Online co-op
Split screen co-op
Local shared co-op
Single player
And didn't come with multi layered DRM. The new game however features only online co-op and it's online based, meaning it lacks most of the features from the first game, costs more than the first game and has multiple layers of DRM.

If Sony want me to buy their games, they need to do day and date, no multi layers of DRM, offline mode support, and actually make the games relatively bug free and priced decently, not price stupidly high.

I haven't had any issues in Helldivers 2 on PC, tbh. I had one crash, and then after the patch yesterday, I haven't had any. It's a fantastic game tbh.
The wife got some new games for the ps5 so im sticking to my pc, bought it, she saw me playing, learned it has cross play and now we are playing together

I would love more people to play it cuz in my opinion it still the best. Next best game fromsoft made is sekiro, if you ask me anyways. So yes I want bloodborne on pc. I'll 100% it again.

In the base game only good bosses are Cleric Beast, Glasgoine and Vicar Amelia, with Bloodstarved Beast and German trailing close behind them in terms of quality.
Most hunter enemies are too easy to cheese with backstabs and no-risk parries, while most giant monster bossfights can be easyly staggered into viceral on repeat untill they perish with no risk involved, and that's a good thing because they rarely fit on screen, and often jump out of it entirely.
Bloodborne has more gank fights than any othes souls game, and that's with extra stupid fucking gimmics on top of aforementioned ganks and Micholash can go to hell.
He only exists to waste time and inorganically extend plautrough time.
It is apperant that Fromsost were trying to fugure out wtf bossfigts are supposed to be like troughout making of Bloodborne which leads to noticable increase in boss quality from Old Hunters DLC where everything short off Living Faliures held up to higher standards than 80% of main game.
Add to that the sad fact that trick weapons don't have nearly enough of a moveset to matter, as changing your few attacks for different few attacks when you change weapon configuratioj is not much better than switching from one handing to two handing a weapon in DS3.
Bloodborn is overhyped.
It is not a bad game, especially for the time it was made, but it isn't anywhere close to deserving the praise it gets.
And the praise it gets because if a man is dumb enough to get scammed off hundrets of dollars for a console, then he is certainly not capable of recognising shitty game desighn if it walked up and smacked him over the head, which coincidently happend very, very often over the span of singular playtrough of Bloodborne.
This game doesn't need a shitty port, nor remaster.
It needs a sequel, that sets out to acomplish roughly the same thing, but does it right. And that’s not likely to happen considering Sony owns the Bloodborne IP.
Shame. Bloodborne 2 could have been worth the praise Bloodborne gets.

If you’re talking about the servers issues they’re the exact same on PS5, einstein. They probably weren’t expecting the success the game is having and hopefully they put more servers up asap as the game is fun as hell.

it's a problem to buy ps games when it's not on ps consoles I guess. even though the sales go to sony. I guess they don't realize how the steam storefront works, it's not some third party website that sells a copy of helldivers 2 like buying a pre-owned copy from a store somewhere physically.
I think the couple problems I have with helldivers 2 is that the anticheat they use is causing performance issues and even breaking steam deck/linux functionality. never mind that the steam deck has been pretty successful and linux gaming has been up and coming.
the whole anticheat thing has been done to death and it gets done to death on every game that is found to have kernel level access, but spoilers; a lot of anticheat runs at a kernel level.
There’s a lot of brainrot in the video game community, it genuinely makes me feel hopeless. Thank god for this channel, it gives me someone to laugh at the stupidity with.

The user score is now positive and going up though, it launched with some technical issues but the game is actually good so reviews are improving through word of mouth, Starfield had even worse technical issue but its reviews followed a very different path: good ratings before launch (especially by xbox fanboy channels) but then reviews went down over time as people actually played the game and found out how bad it was.
Because PC Gamers have way higher standards in console Gamers and if something is not right with the game they are going to make their voices heard through the Steam Reviews until the developers fix the problem which they have already done I guess it only took them a day or two and they got the game working good
Sony needs to finally realize that PC platform sells more games than all consoles combined and that's where all the games should be like bloodborne remaster Demon Souls remake in any other new game they think about making

I've just had an personal epiphany...
I'm an xbox main. All week what with the rumours I've been mourning the possible death of my platform of choice(mainly because of my library). Knowing that it's probably years off of happening still, I've been reluctant to buy anything on the store until this is all cleared up.
Watching this, and hearing how a first party game from sony doing well day and date on pc was sending the ps fanboys crazy, had me like "what is their problem, it's a good thing the game is selling well somewhere"
Then it hit me, this is potentially what microsoft are actually after, if the rumours come true. I can fully understand why they'd be thinking of/ doing it.
I've been on the fence for a while but it's finally hit me, the series x will be my last console, I'm switching to pc at my next available convenience.
Even if, and that's a big if, xbox goes third party. You should still have your library on the Xbox pc app.
Worst case scenario, you can re-obtain your games by pirating then on pc. You already bought them anyways

But yeah, like I said I've been thinking of switching for a while, even though I may still be on xbox for a few years still(wife, life and kids come first or course), my mind has been made up, pc is my next gaming platform.

So, issue with the anti cheat of Helldivers 1 is… there is none. It also uses unprotected P2P. What that does means it opens up your computer to to called RemoteAccessTrojans: a RAT attack. Bricky made a video about RATs on CoD, so they needed some sort of Anti Cheat/Security software. That they chose GameGuard is kinda dumb because it’s not a good one.
Sony is so cheap and stingy they won't even pay for servers they are forcing everyone to use peer-to-peer like we did back in the 90s this is absolutely unacceptable for a multiplayer game because it's going to be like the original Gears of War where you have host shotgun
Any game that lets you earn currency that can also be bought with IRL money, you will find anti-cheat regardless of being a co-op game.
I'm happy to see it do well, I loved the first game and am planning on getting 2 on the ps5 at some.

Heres hoping the issues with this game get fixed and we see a few more day and date games for PC/PS5. Personally i really don't need both versions to come out on the same day. I've got s crazy big backlog, so i can wait while the console players beta test for us and we (hopefully) get the better version down the line. Probably the only sony exclusive i would buy day one for full price would be Bloodborne.

It is kind of funny. These are the same people saying XBox potentially going third party will allow them to make more money. But somehow this benefit doesn’t exist or is bad for Sony when they start putting stuff out multiplat day and date.
Game is awesome though. And if it has any longevity in it, it will be thanks to simultaneously releasing on PC. PC gaming is larger than ever and Sony should just do day and date. They’d see a huge spike in sales for sure and the immediate bragging rights of being able to see concurrent players on Steam, a metric we don’t get on console.
What people don't understand is short-term they will make more money. But long term they will lose money. Because if you are a console gamer, and you're looking at whether to buy Xbox or PlayStation. And all Xbox games are on Playstation. The consumer will get a PlayStation instead. Now that gamer will be buying all of their third-party games on PlayStation, which means Microsoft will miss out on that 30% that they would typically get selling games on their system. And over time what will happen is there will be less demand for an Xbox with console gamers. And because people would start switching to PlayStation, less and less people will be subscribing to Game Pass. And less and less people will be buying accessories for the Xbox. So in the end Xbox as a brand will die off because the hard-core fans is not enough to keep the brand a float. Now I'm not saying this will happen over night. But I could see it happening in 5+ years if Xbox went third party. Businesses survive by having products that their competition does not have. And this is why exclusive will never go away in any business.
@@ohiostate614oh7 Honestly I think the industry is moving away from dedicated home console to mobile (or handheld anyway) since there is a leak about Sony making a new vita as sku to ps6 and xbox making handheld for their next gen. Microsoft is probably banking that Gamepass on handheld is going to retain a lot of players while Sony have to compete with Nintendo strategy in term of exclusivity, which is not going to be good for Sony since Nintendo ip is just way too strong with Pokemon and Mario selling gangbusters.

Feels like Sony is still testing the waters but every attempt from them to put games on PC turned out incredibly well. I see no reason why they wouldn't want more day one releases in the future. It's a matter of time at this point, really. I'm sure the new Stellar Blade would more than double their sales numbers on Steam compared to PS5 only.

Day and date works, there were more on steam than PlayStation day one. The problem with PlayStation fanboys on Twitter is that they didn’t start playing video games till the PS4 and it shows.
Luckily the devs fixed the big issues in less than a day and it’s at a mostly positive on steam. DRM stuff is still valid but luckily it’s not a redfall and comes out extremely broken
I've seen a couple Xbox fanboy channels saying Helldivers 2 is flop on PC. Judging by the user review score. They're making a similar mistake to Reforge Gaming how he said SS Kill the Justice League is doing good on PC because of positive user score. Can't just look at that and most negative reviews have to do with crashing and the anti cheat, the game is good though and the player metrics are excellent. 83K all time peak with 80K people playing it currently.
For reference SSKJ had an all time peak of 13K lol and barely anyone plays it anymore. That was an expensive game that took Rocksteady almost a decade to make. Helldivers 2 is a really fun game, its a good game despite some of the crashing issues which can be fixed but a shitty game cannot be fixed.

I am a PC master race, but when GTA 6 comes out I will buy the cheapest used PS5/Xbox I can find since it's going to be at least a year before it hits PC. But as soon as GTA 6 comes out on PC, I will give the console to my daughter and get it on PC.

I'm so disappointed in these type of reactions, people just spewing hate for no reason. Arrowhead are amazing devs that supported Helldivers 1 for 9 years despite the fact that the game was pretty niche. Arrowhead probably wanted to have people from different platforms to be able to play with each other and help bolster the overall player count, simple as that.
Seeing people froth at the mouth at a decision that was universally good makes part of me wish I never got into video games.

2 things; 1) Xbox has NOT yet confirmed they are going full 3rd party and 2) Helldivers II is NOT a 1st party Sony game at best you could call it 2nd party since they publish it but DON'T develop it. An addition to the 1st point of mine there are rumours that Xbox are making a Steam Deck esque handled device as well as a cloud streaming device the size of a USB stick and on top of that there are also rumours that Microsoft is in talks with Intel to provide the chips for their next console, now while I 100% acknowledge that these are also rumours why would these rumours be flying around as well if Microsoft is going to announce their withdrawal from the console hardware space and go full 3rd party?

I swear a channel like this really try to create drama out of nothing. I have seen more PS fanboys celebrating steam player count on twitter than hating that the game is on pc.
