Penny's cannon barely hits good players. You use it to help pinch them. The HC helps a little because of the extra flame area, but it's still not very impactful. Simply giving it a decent range buff (so she can put it out of danger while still getting value). Or, making it shoot 1 cannonball at 2 different people like he said (to increase the chance of it hitting) would have fit her way more. Definitely against bad players, it's good, but I can't see it hitting good ones or providing much more area control than a regular super.
A lot of people are saying that 8-Bit's hypercharge sucks because they just throw it on top of the enemies thinking it's a Jessie turret. It's not supposed to be used for offense, it's suppose to give the turret a way to defend itself from being destroyed so easily by damaging enemies. It also gains extra health to increase its survivability as well. Even though the hypercharges this update weren't that good, this video was just trash.
I mean ye true i semi agree. Most of the time i personally place it behind of the wall in my side of a 3v3 match or in my personal spot in showdown. I just feel like it couldve been something more useful for 8 bit mains other than just having a KINDA useful turret which doesnt really do anything imo to really impact the game 😭😭
i feel like 8bits is probably underrated. his turret is a speed booster, damage booster and does dmg by itself now it probably can be used to kill confirm.
Have you tried shooting a chuck? A little hard with the 50% shield, this is what’s happening to Darryl he’s gonna have 25% damage reduction during a roll, 25% after a roll for two seconds and another 25% for 5 seconds with hypercharge if you have a stun i think you’ll be fine but shooting like 12000 hp can be difficult without a teammates help
Fr I teamwiped 4 people in showdown with it and got my Darryl to 1k trophies It’s underrated hyper Just better use it when there is like 2-4 enemies So you can cycle 4 supers

1:58 you forget something else, since they have to keep moving in 1 direction to avoid getting hit it makes it easier to hit them with your main attack as if the move back to dodge the shot they get hit with the cannon ball
Darryl’s hyper has untapped potential because he gets a hyper shield, a star power shield and like 10k health, also its great for area control, and charges his super a bunch
Penny's could have been something that made her super easier to hit, like better ai that tracks movement like the sniper bots. Darryl's hypercharge is just his gadget and super combined, so if the gadget was already inconsistent, then the hypercharge will too. Otis' is just stupid. You're silencing them, so why the added stun if they already can't do anything? I would have liked if it would steal the target's ammo over time so Otis can finish them off before the silence wears off. It would work very well against high HP enemies. 8-Bit is the most confusing one. I guess it's to deal with pets since his turret is the only one that can't deal damage out of all the immobile spawnables, but it doesn't help against much else. Since it buffs allies' damage, I think it should also debuff enemies' damage. Can't really say much about Stu's. It was either the mutation again or he regains knockback. Ruffs' is pretty solid, although it makes good players think "Which of my teammates is slower at charging the hypercharge? And which is more useful at the moment?" to get the most value. High skill ceiling
The penny one is insanely good, every time I see videos of people using it though it’s like they forget it can shoot over walls or has disgustly long range, I always get so much value from my hyper turrets and have yet to lose a match of hot zone bcs of it.
Penny’s is solid ig but I think it would be better if they made it so the warning area (the thing marking where it will land) appeared later so enemies have less time to react
OTIS STUN is versatile but its BORING. What if instead of stun, the starfish DELETES the enemy’s ammo, supercharge, and hypercharge AFTER the silence has worn off. Since it cant really teamwipe like a gale’s or barley’s or rico’s would, it needs to be broken at least on a single enemy.

yeah cycling it is quite ass but giving it to someone else is insane because imagine in heist you have hypercharge and super and you have a crow with super but his hyper isn't charged, then you can give it to crow and then he jumps on the heist safe while you use ur gadget and you can say goodbye to that safe
Darryl’s hyper is kinda underrated in my opinion it makes hims super tanky and it gives him the slight extra dmg to wipe a whole team if u run into them with the super and hit them with the 600 dmg shot thats 1,400 dmg and you didn’t even use any bullets plus if you use steel hoop he becomes pretty hard to kill for 4 seconds
They need to make the HCs UNIQUE and USEFUL 8-bit HC is a bit useful but come on you're gonna throw the super behind a wall anyways but at least it's very unique

Coming from a penny main I am pretty dissapointed. I think making it shoot faster or shoot 2 cannonballs in 2 different places would’ve been much better. It’ll still be crazy for heist tho which is her bast game mode anyway.

You have no idea how much fun penny's turret is on maps that have teleporters. ALSO you keep putting the turret in spots where it's obviously going to die and then you get surprised when it dies.

I got the ruffs hyper and every game I play somehow the brawlers with hypercharges just walk away from it and some random comes who hasn’t unlocked their hyper and takes it their self for just a super. It can be good but with bad random it can be useless.
Nubbz you’re literally putting pennys turret out in the open for it to be shot down easily if you HC then put it down somewhere safe it’ll be able to pinch and have good control over the map and plus with the gadget it can cover a whole lot of area
Wait til the cannon shoots the first 2 shots and wait till you see 2 or 3 enemy's then hit the spyglass you'll be able to have 5 shots at once time and if you can cycle it 3 times it's 15 shots in under a minute and thirty seconds
The stats for Darryl's are pretty lame too the 25% speed does not mater and there's only a 5% attack increase :/ 25% shield is probably good, but that's the only decent thing about his hyper
You foget that with pennys hyper now people have to walk straight and more predictable, she is a controller so her hyperchrage gives he more control of an area because people have to walk straight longer so more predictable and also the two canon balls gives her more map control

you can't infinitely cycle it, you can only get an extra hyper for yourself unless you die, but that'd be basically throwing the game
you could just put it at spawn so if one of your teammates dies, they can respawn with potentially a full super and a hyper which is crazy good
