I like that part of the reason Blitzø is so dismissive to Stolas is that he can't imagine Stolas could ever be hurt, especially by him. He is so convinced that he can't be loved, but he needs it so badly, and it informs all of his relationships. He lives his romantic dreams vicariously through Millie & Moxxie, he adopted a daughter that he saw himself in so that he could give someone the support and love he never got, and he pushes Stolas away because he can't bring himself to believe that something good would ever happen to him, so Stolas MUST see him as nothing but a toy.

The bleeped words in season 2 are them dropping the c-bomb which was used particularly a lot in that one episode. They wrote it into the script but it got the episodes demonetized so they had to replace every use with a bleep. You can see it when you turn on closed captions and some of the animators of the show have posted rough animation clips where the word is uncensored on twitter.
they got away with using it in Hazbin Hotel because it wasn't dealing with youtube's censors.
Its so fucking stupid that youtube has all these innapropriate ads that if you're a minor google literally wouldn't let you get rid of, while at the same time demonetizing a show CLEARLY FOR ADULTS for swearing. This app needs to get it's shit together or it might start losing the creators that make it so much money.

To be fair, thats such a small detail to pay attention to during the trauma inducing scene, i hadn’t noticed that until a therapist pointed it out.
Most people assume it because the shoe comes up just as he does it. That’s normally a visual indicator thats who it was.

The reason we love/hate Blitz and Stolas' relationship is because it is a fantastic show on a toxic relationship that isn't just straight up abuse. Stolas is desperately reaching out to someone who isn't ready for a relationship, so much so that new paths of pain keep finding him. Blitz sucks, he is a is a type of 'he sucks, but I understand' type of character. He is so afraid of connection that he is afraid of both being hurt and hurting others that he figures it is best to keep everyone away. Neither character is trying to make the other feel awful or being abusive, but it is still toxic. Media doesn't show these type of relationships enough and they need to be known.
You can have two wonderful people in a relationship that shouldn't be in one.
Don’t forget the actual setting. All that you’re saying is true. But you also have to add ‘Stolas is an Ars Goetia’. They’re demon royalty compared to imps who are basically demon slaves. The Ars Goetia often treat imps more like accessories or items then real people. There’s several shots of Goetia having imps like pets. So Blitzø, who is prone to assuming the the worse, can’t help but to think there is -no way- a demon royalty ^actually^ likes him and is not just a plaything for the rich. I mean Stolas has on several occasions forced Blitzø to fuck him, And taken advantage of his station. Blitzø knows he’s not a fool. Is it the only reason? No. But it’s definitely a contributing factor
@@jolunrohthocoudis526 Oh definitely. I even think that Stolas first thought that's all he wanted. As a kid, no, I think he genuinely wanted a friend. As an adult, it seems that he thought he'd be happy enough using that "imp-pet-provider" mentality. But it seems he quickly figured out his feelings, while yeah, Blitz just doesn't believe him.
I just don't think Stolas knows what love is. He's been used to Stella all his life so he may not know how to express love effectively without being intimate. He used Blitz a bit because he loved how it made him feel without realizing he was coming off as only wanting him FOR that.
As. Stolas married to a Blitz (but past all the bad stuff now. Therapy works kiddos) yes. The “two people (that aren’t ready) shouldn’t be in a relationship” we had so many things and past issues to have to work through, but once that was worked on, the relationship is amazing. Both of us relate to these characters too much because of our past traumas. So we love this show so much.

Stolas realised that acting horny may just let him survive there. Remember like every time someone talk about horny stuff, Striker hated it, flinched and don't want to have anything to do with it? That's why he acted like that on 2nd knife strike. 1st been unexpected and could prepare for next one mentally, it still did hurt him.

Just a side note but Blitz's short and poor responses at the end in the texts is because he is semi illiterate, he often misspells things and probably can't read too well so he isn't responding to Stolas with anything but the most basic messages even if/when he wants to say more.

Every reactor I’ve seen watch this episode completely misses that CRIMSON is the one that offed Moxie’s mom. The one Moxie dumps off the boat ISN’T his mom.
It’s makes a LOT of sense considering the framing. The framing of her shoe floating up after Moxie dumps the demon into the water would make anyone think he killed his own mom. If her shoe was just already a part of the group of clothes and a random shoe floats up then it’d make more sense idk. Her shoe floating up after Moxie kills someone else is bad framing if they don’t want literally everyone to assume he just killed his mom.
@rosenmael9724 or the framing is the shoe is with all the other clothing that's already floating. A freshly dumped body isn't going to lose stuff like that immediately. The fight they had behind closed doors, and the fact she's no longer at dinner implies she's no longer around. So when they're in the boat, and he dumps the body, and the shoe pops up, THAT'S where she's been. There's context clues all over leading up to that point.

The shoe floated up directly after an action (shoving person overboard), so the assumption is the action caused the shoe to appear. The scene should have definitely panned over to an already floating shoe, or made the ripple of the water knock something over to reveal the shoe
@that1fangrl read my reply above. There's context clues all over leading up to the scene showing you that the mother is no longer in the picture. Her show floating up let's you know she's dead already.

Maybe she was healing from abuse, maybe she didn't want to be seen like that, maybe he had her locked somewhere. One slap to murder is a big leap

I think Danny realizes it, but doesn’t think it excuses how poorly it causes him to treat Stolas. I personally relate a lot to Blitz and have had similar struggles, but I still reacted to these episodes the same way Danny did because it’s extremely frustrating and difficult to watch a character you love in a situation like this, even if you understand all the factors at play.
I was really waiting to see his reaction to blitz saying "he can be hurt" because personally that ripped my soul into pieces but he straight up didn't even react to it

Yeah I have an unpopular opinion about S2 and I'm glad Danny mentioned Rick and Mortys new episodes in another video since I feel the same way about them too. I freaking love the new episodes and I think they are funnier. I know I'm nuts but I laugh more at S2 episodes than S1. If there is emotional trauma that let's me bond with these characters, then I find the show funnier. I find the characters funnier. I know some people want S1 silliness back but I love the depth addition. That's how my brain works.😂

Also, given the sheer escapism Rick has shown, the last half of Rick and Morty feels like a weird release. Rick is trying to be a better person literally despite himself. Also the world is still zany as well. It also gives a bit of light to the toxic family dynamic of the Sanchez family a bit more but updated. On the other hand, at this point Rick and Morty is a far different show than what it suggested and given that it was initially nihilistic chaos and memes, you can’t really reconcile nihilistic chaos and memes with a grandiose epic about how a particular Rick Sanchez works past him losing his wife, especially given that you would never guess that Rick is particularly family-focused given how badly he treats his family in the beginning and how toxic the family is in Seasons 1 and 2.

The reason why the swearing is censored is because of UA-cam most likely hitting them with age restrictions or whatever it's called and they couldn't make money. When the episodes originally came out nothing was censored and it was all out. I recently went back and saw the episodes and was like- "why is everything bleeped!?" And my best guess is so they don't lose money since this is UA-cam and UA-cam sucks.
When I first watched it I literally kept replaying Moxxie’s backstory in disbelief because I can’t believe something like that happened, literally felt close to crying. Poor moxxie bro.

In the Bahubali movies, Prabhas played the role of both the father and the son Bahubali because in universe the son bore a striking resemblance to the father. This is a live action movie where it is clearly actually just the same dude, not even just the same voice actor of an animated character.

You can see in most cuts he now has eyebags, indicating a loss of sleep over the situation about Stolas getting hurt.
To make it worse, all the flowers in the hospital room are definitely "thinking of you, hope you get better flowers". Meaning no one cared enough to come see him in person

Stolas realizes where he went wrong in their relationship and what he has to do to give their relationship a chance....and it's going to break your heart.

Im the end of episode 4 Blitzø says "He can get hurt?" When Stolas get carried into the hospital and my heart breaks because Blitzø though Stolas was invincible, so he didnt bother to go himself, and now he regrets it so much
Everytime I watch the Millie vs Everyone fight scene I notice more badass things she does.
for the record, the word that the writers bleep out is "C*nt," because UA-cam, (they didn't have to bleep it in Hazbin Hotel because Amazon). As far as this show will go sometimes, I'm pretty sure they draw the line at actual slurs.
There is a way of seeing Blitzo's interactions with Stolas that does make it a least believable and more understandable, if not more tolerable. He doesn't understand that Stolas is recently closeted, likely neurodivergent, and certainly socially awkward. He thinks that the full horndog mode is just Stolas trying out a new kink and his offers of emotional intimacy are just superficial, like when a boss says to let them know if you need anything
I actually like that angle (well, not like, but you know what I mean^^). Blitzø's shut-down of Stolas' offer of a casual hangout (talking, movie, cuddling) makes much more sense if he thinks that Stolas is just going through the motions of offering whatever short term, just to keep the sex deal going in the long run - rather than believing that this is what Stolas himself would actually want.
Man, their communication issue really is a gordian knot...
