KW is definitely American. The other likely candidate would be Peterbilt. KW and Peterbilt are both made by the same company. Hasn't always been that way, but another company called PACCAR bought them both several years ago.
My grandad had a custom built Mack Series R he would make runs from Iran to Germany thru Turkey/Eastern Europe on barely passable “roads”. He was also a major bootlegger and built all sorts of secret compartments to smuggle things back and forth including a fake axle and hidden fuel tanks. He always said Mack makes the best trucks, powerful reliable and easy to maintain. Would be nice to see some more of those in the game I think there is a mod for the series R but a Mack dlc would be cool too
Hi. Greetings from Germany. I have found that road trains are often slowed down by the handbrake being put on the second vehicle automatically, so you're pulling against it. This happens over half of the time. It seems to happen less if you drive the second truck a few feet before changing to the first though.
It's like the burnt trees on the ground are magneticly attracted to vehicles driving near them. I noticed it in your videos and then checked it out for myself while doing a contract and task. They moved toward the truck as I drove by. Lol Wth, devs. Lol
I've been helping a guy on Michigan (new to the game) and road trains seem to be faster. So it's just however they've been coding the DLC maps that slow you down.
I think they increased the angle when cargo unpacks, I was running long planks on the TS and got wedged at an angle but the load stayed attached while I got it sorted, all the while I cringed in anticipation of impending unpack.
Well year 3 is taking up to Season 12, so not this year. And there will probably be a half year/year worth of downtime between one game ending and the next game starting, so I'm not gonna hold my breath for next year either. And that's assuming Saber even has SunRunner 2/MudRunner 3 in the works right now. If not, and they are waiting until SnowRunner ends before they even start SnowRunner 2, then SnowRunner 2 could be a good 4-5 years away if not more.
The new truck moves faster for me woth fifrerent tyres, lol. At least it feels that way. The muds feels like they slow down the truck, despite veing better on peper, I am nor using two of them, one with chains and one I think that was a stock tyre on it? Did not feel it to be worse in the mud, but faster everywhere else. I do not know if I am tripping. It still does not fly but consustency for me us a thing.
Mud tires does slow you down more but is more guaranteed to always keep you moving. Offroad tires cut though surface mud better and seem to carry more pace but they are at more risk of getting bogged down in deep stuff.
@@justinlynch3 in practice that nee truck starts running out of power on the axles faster than spining on mud it feels like. I am hust too lazy to do the extensive testing to compare, but I felt faster on all surfaces.
@@mechadrake Maps like Ontario aren't to muddy, Offroad tires should get you anywhere you need to go especially OHD I and UOD II which both have a 1.9 mud rating (almost as good as MSH I/DMHS set which are 2.0). The offroad should get you around the map faster and make better use of your fuel. Mudtires come into their own on slow crawler maps, places like Imandra, Kola and Yukon are good places for mudtires as they have lots of deep snow/mud. So speed isn't going to be a factor on maps like that, it's all traction and staying on top of the mud at that point. You for example don't need mudtires for most of Season 8, but it is a good idea to put mudtires on a vehicle when you go to that one very bad swamp as offroads will get stuck there.
@@justinlynch3 i wonder though, where do people take these stats from? The gsme does not disclose them and it does not even show how same classs tyres differ. Not even description. And I cant see any debug menus

They do a lot of older trucks so they could do MAC or International as well

Those ribs on the log trailers are horrible for catching on trees 😭 lol

Am i the only one that noticet that there is a "that's what she said„ joke in every single video? 😂
Are the Lofs used for repair points and a refuel at the half way point?
When will they release Snowrunner 2???
