- THE SHOTGUN WEDDING - we couldn't quite grasp the severity of our findings until it was almost too late. Violet had been systematically abused and it was time to intervene... exactly who we were intervening against remained unclear.

John singing his own version of murder on the dancefloor is the funniest thing ever
Great episode btw
Aka, the episode where sherlock gives highfives
HOLYMOLY I LOVE THIS EPISODE SO MUCH. "No, she's your widow." THAT LINE HAD NO REASON TO GO SO HARD. GO BOBBY! KING! Also John, Sherlock, and Mariana being icons per usual
I am so glad they kept that line from the original story. It's one of my favourite lines ever.
@@aradhyaroy YES!! i adore the og story and that line has always been amazing
Not john singing the theme song 😭😭😭 really made my week
Jonk, we love you
I like that yall kept the "No, she's your widow" line from the short story! that was probably Bob Carruthers's best moment, and it turns into the climax of the episode as well as Bobby's 'BAMF moment'. as strangely mixed as the tone of this adventure has been, the plot is solid.
"HIGH BLOODY FIVE!"
Bloody hell, this episode was insane! Well done, John!
I hate how each case kinda leaves everything open ended. Because does the woman leave her abusive and toxic now husband or does she stay. Because shes been so brainwashed by her lover that he couldnt possible been drugging her.
In reality she most likely stayed, because as soon as the husband got even slightly better. He probably began gaslighting her saying shit like "oh your pyscho brother shot me!"
We can only hope that she listen to the podcast and realizes the truth so she can leave him and leave that life she clearly did not want.
Eh. The last good episode was Red Headed League.
