  • Linda George & Peter McKay 1980 (Australia)
During 1979, Linda George performed backing vocals on Mike Brady's album Invisible Man. Brady had just had a No. 1 hit with "Up There Cazaly" and set up his own label, Full Moon Records. George signed to his label and returned to the studio with new material. Her first single in four years was a duet with Melbourne singer Paul McKay, "Love Is Enough", released in April 1980, which reached No. 23 locally.

What a great duet. The lovely Linda with Paul (Meaney) McKay who was one of the great singers in Melbourne in the 70’s. He fronted Keith McKay’s band and they became the Paul McKay Sound. Vale bass player and great bloke Don Bailes who passed recently

Fantastic!! Amazing how a beautiful song you loved as a 12 yr old and had completely forgotten - can suddenly be revisited bringing all the memories back with it. Just incredible what the 3XY charts at Rateyourmusic can do. What a talent Linda George was. Much thanks.

Linda George was Macedonian. I don’t know what became of her, but she was a great singer.

She was a music teacher for some time. I met her when she was judging a singing Eisteddfod. A magical singer.
