I did M.phil recently in Jan. 2021 after 5 years of bachelor's . It was research based I only have my thesis but not published any research paper yet.

Yes, but it is good to do Masters after Bachelor, because in Masters especially for thesis, there is slight competition, but for PhD, it is difficult to secure admission
